1 Henrico County Public Schools K-5 Attached is the K-5 SOL content specific mathematics vocabulary taken from the VDOE Curriculum Framework. This vocabulary is the mathematical language that should be used with the students during daily instruction of mathematics. The vocabulary is cumulative for K-5 students and is the terminology used on the HAT/SOL tests. The attached list of K-5 mathematics vocabulary should not become part of weekly spelling tests nor vocabulary tests. Rather, the words should be embedded in daily math lessons and instruction.
