3 Instructions Alphabet Match ~ Match the upper case cards to the lower case cards. Size Sort ~ Sort the images in order of size (largest to smallest and smallest to largest) Word Cards ~ Print 2 sets of these cards. Use one set as the main document cutting the other set apart to match or cut/paste the corresponding words and pictures. Or print two sets and just match them together. Number Match ~ Match the number cards to number cards. Missing Letters/Numbers ~ Find the missing letters/numbers and place them in the correct letters/numbers squares. Number Puzzle ~ Cut cards in half. Count the Christmas themed images and match to the corresponding number card. Patterns ~ Cut and paste the Christmas image that completes the pattern. Match the Picture ~ Have your child draw a line to the corresponding picture. Number Sequence Puzzles (1-10 and 11-20) ~ Have your child place the strips in numerical order to make a picture. Sample file Word Puzzle ~ Cut picture into strips and have child spell the word Christmas to complete the puzzle or have child cut and paste. Pre-Writing Skills ~ Have the child trace the dotted lines. Scissor Skills ~ Have the child cut on the dotted lines toward the presents. Lacing Card ~ Laminate and punch holes around the ornament and lace with shoe string or yarn. Magnet Page ~ Use magnets, counters, or stickers to place on the circles. Puzzle Match ~ Print and cut the Elf pictures into thirds. Have the child match the pictures by images and color backgrounds or cut and paste. Up and Down Sort ~ Using the sort page, have the child sort whether Santa Claus is going up or down the chimney. Letter Sorting ~ Using the sort pages, have the child sort by upper and lower case letters as well as the shapes of the letters (straight lines, curved lines, or both).
4 Small, Medium and Large Sort ~ Match the different size pictures to the corresponding pictures on the size sorting page. Counting Ornaments ~ Have the child place the number of ornaments listed on the Christmas tree star on the Christmas tree mat. Word Trace ~ Have the child trace the Christmas themed words. Use with letters cubes or letter magnets having your child spell out the words. Upper Case, Lower Case, Number Match ~ Use bottle caps, counters or write on Avery dot stickers and have child match the counter/sticker to the corresponding letter or number. Shape Matching ~ Laminate the shape mat and the shape cards. Cut out the shape cards and have child match to the corresponding shape on the shape mat. Also can have child cut and paste the shape cards to the corresponding shape on the shape mat. Shape Word Trace ~ Have the child trace the shape words. Use with letters cubes or letter magnets having your child spell out the words. Use as a 2-part puzzle by printing, laminating, and cutting the present pictures and trace cards apart. Color Matching ~ Print, laminate and cut out the reindeer color cards and the color circles. Have child match the color circles to the color on each reindeer nose. Sample file Color Word Trace ~ Have the child trace the color words. Use with letters cubes or letter magnets having your child spell out the words. Print and laminate and use as a 2-part puzzle by cutting the reindeer pictures and trace cards apart. Letter/Number Trace & Match ~ Have child trace the letters/numbers and draw a line to the matching letters/numbers. Coloring Pages ~ Color pictures and trace words and letters. Have Fun!
