4 Introduction WDM (Wave Length Multiple) is a good scheme for realizing high speed transmissions. ut the wave length and number have to be selected carefull, because those decide light devices (LED,PD) and the performance of VLC sstems. WDM sstem depends on the light devices strongl. CMC (Color Multiple Coding) is a new modulation scheme which we propose. It doesn t depend on the wave length and number directl. It can be epected better fleibilit for VLC sstem than WDM. Slide 4

6 Wh CMC? WDM Transmit data is distributed to channels. The channels are decided b the wave length and number. Same wave length sources and detectors are required. Sstem fleibilit is lower. CMC Transmit data is allocated in the color coordinate plane. The channels are decided b the color coordinate. It doesn t depend on the wave length and number directl. Sstem fleibilit is higher. 7 Wh CMC? Illumination Sign board Mobile color coordinate Mobile Light source spectrum are different among the various devices. CMC smbols are produced b several light sources according to the color coordinate. CMC smbols can be reproduced b different light sensors. CMC guarantees the connectivit each device with color coordinate. CMC is better for VLC standardization with considering the connectivit among the different devices. Slide 7

16 Conclusion We proposed CMC as a new modulation scheme. CMC can provide more fleible VLC sstem than WDM. CMC has better performance than WDM in some case. We confirmed 2Mbps transmission on 16CMC. We can epect higher transmission speed b using the device (LED, PD) which has wider frequenc band. Slide 16
