Map will zm t the extent f the selected feature. Drp-Dwn allws selectin f a Twn/City (alphabetical rder). Drp-Dwn allws selectin f a Subdivisin (alphabetical rder), nt all subdivisins are mapped. Left-Click t pen search input bx. Click t Search by Parcel Number (nine digits nly). Click t Search by Address. Click t Search by Twnship, Range, and Sectin. Bk # Parcel # Appraiser Parcel Number = Page/Blck # Entering a 9 digit number will zm the map t that ne particular parcel. Only ne parcel is assigned t any given parcel number. Entering a 6 digit number will zm the map t all f the parcels that are lcated n that Bk and Page/Blck. Place Cursr in the input bx Type a 6/9 digit number Click Search r press Enter

Tggle the visibility f the Map Legend Tggle the visibility f Bkmarks Tggle the visibility f the Overview Map (Appears in the lwer right had crner) Shws print preview and dialg The Map Legend defines hw layers are shwn in the map. It allws the user t change the visibility f a layer. A in the bx indicates that the layer is n and shuld be visible in the map. A grayed legend item indicates that the layer state cannt be changed due t the current scale f the map.

T add a Bkmark place the cursr in the input bx Type a name fr the Bkmark Click the T g t a saved Bkmark Click the saved name T delete all Bkmarks Click Clear Obtaining Parcel Infrmatin parcel data fr each mapped parcel in Elk Cunty can be viewed thrugh the Elk Cunty GIS WEB Service. The data that will be shwn is the same that is available frm the Elk Cunty Assessr Real Prperty Inquiry page. T view the data yu will have t zm r search t the parcel f interest. The blue utline indicates a selected parcel Select the parcel f interest by Left-Clicking n it with the cursr. After selectin the parcel will be repsitined t the center f the map. Hver the cursr ver the selected (cyan) parcel. A bx shwing attributes f the parcel will appear. Click the Link: Elk Cunty Assessr Infrmatin

The explains hw t put an image in a MS Wrd dcument, but can be used t put an image in abut any mdern windws applicatin that allw cpy and paste. Use the Elk Cunty GIS Web t zm t a parcel f interest. Snipping Tl The Snipping Tl available frm the Assessries Flder in the start menu. In this case we will use the Snipping Tl t capture the Elk Cunty Curthuse blck and place it in a wrd dcument. The prcedure shwn will be standard fr Micrsft prgrams and shuld wrk in mst 3 rd party prgrams that allw Cut and Paste. Click the Snipping Tl Click and Hld Drag a bx t the Green Arrw
