2 Primary Logo The OPSWAT logo is a universal signature spanning all of our communications. Because it is such a recognizable and highly visible asset, it s important that it is always applied consistently wherever it appears. In its primary form, the logo should appear as shown to the right in OPSWAT blue and gray. OPSWAT Brand Guidelines 01
3 Secondary Mark If the primary OPSWAT logo has been previously established within a piece of print or digital collateral, the secondary mark may be used as a more subtle branding element. The mark should never be used as a main company identifier or primary visual focus for materials about OPSWAT. OPSWAT Brand Guidelines 02
4 Color use Consistent use of color will help further the recognition of the OPSWAT brand identity. 5 Primary Logo Reversed option 1 There are two options of the OPSWAT logo for use when it is placed on a dark background. 6 Clear Space To ensure its integrity and visibility, the OPSWAT logo should be kept clear of competing text, images and graphics. It must be surrounded on all sides by an adequate clear space. At minimum, the clear space should equal the height and width of the O on all sides. X OPSWAT Brand Guidelines 05
7 Size Original logo for all sizes 1.5 inches and above. The symbol should be omitted if the logo is less than 1.5 or 150px wide. 1.5 or 150 px The logo should not be displayed less than or 100 px wide. The mark should not be displayed less than or 60 px wide. Logo art for use at sizes smaller than 1.5 inches with a minimum size of.75 inch or 100 px or 60 px OPSWAT Brand Guidelines 06
8 LOGO USAGE Correct Usage Use the primary color logo on white and light backgrounds. The OPSWAT logo may be used on color backgrounds that offer enough contrast to easily separate the logo from the background. Select colors for the logo only from the brand color palette. Choose colors that compliment one another and do not vibrate against the background. Use the black logo on light backgrounds or photographs when the primary color logo does not provide sufficient contrast. Use the white logo on a dark or mid-toned photographs or backgrounds when other logos do not provide sufficient contrast. OPSWAT Brand Guidelines 07
9 LOGO USAGE Incorrect Usage Never alter the colors in the logo. Never tilt the logo. The OPSWAT logo may be used on color backgrounds that offer enough contrast to easily separate the logo from the background. Select colors for the logo only from the brand color palette. Choose colors that compliment one another and do not vibrate against the background. Never distort the shape of the logo. Do not add effects to the logo. Do not outline the logo. Do not use a background image whose subject matter competes with the visibility of the logo. Never alter the proportions of the logo. OPSWAT Brand Guidelines 08
10 BRAND TYPOGRAPHY Fonts The primary OPSWAT brand typography consists of Open Sans Font Family. The typeface comes in a variety of weights and offer flexibility of use.
