PhoneBook (Array List) Background: You are to create a class that will mimic the actions of the speed dials in a cell phone. The user of your cell phone will have 10 speed dial numbers from 0-9. For each speed dial, you will store the name of the person with that speed dial number as well as the number for the person. Assignment: 1. First, you are to create a Contact class. This class has 3 private instance variables. The first is a String to hold the contact name; the second is a String to hold the contact phone number; the third is an int to hold the contact speed dial. 2. The Contact class should have 2 constructors: Contact(String Name, String PhoneNumber, int SpeedDial) { Contact (String Name, String PhoneNumber) { For the second constructor, the contact s speed dial should be set to -1. If the SpeedDial is -1, the user doesn t have a speed dial number. 3. Your Contact class should have 3 public methods: public String getname() { public String getphonenumber(){ public int getspeeddial(){ 4. Next, you are to create a PhoneBook class. The class has a single private instance variable. This instance variable is an ArrayList which is to hold Contact objects. 5. The PhoneBook class will have one constructor the default constructor. In the constructor, you are to initialize the ArrayList. 6. Your PhoneBook class must have the following public methods: Throw an IllegalArgumentException in these cases: 1. The value of SpeedDial is less than 0 or greater than 9 2. Name is null or contains an empty string 3. Phone number is null or contains an empty string 4. A contact with the specified speed dial already exists in the ArrayList 5. A contact with the specified name already exists in the ArrayList Create a new contact and add it to the ArrayList. public void add(string Name, String PhoneNumber, int SpeedDial) { Throw an IllegalArgumentException in these cases: 1. Name is null or contains an empty string 2. Phone number is null or contains an empty string 3. A contact with the specified name already exists in the ArrayList Create a new contact and add it to the ArrayList. public void add(string Name, String PhoneNumber) {

Deletes the contact with the specified SpeedDial public void delete(int SpeedDial) { Deletes the contact with the specified Name public void delete(string Name) { Throw an IllegalArgumentException if the SpeedDial value is invalid. Outputs the string Calling name at number with the correct name and phone number if a contact with the specified SpeedDial is found in the ArrayList. Outputs the string Speed dial number is empty if a contact with the speed dial isn t found in the ArrayList public void call(int SpeedDial){ Outputs the string Calling name at number with the correct name and phone number if a contact with the specified Name is found in the ArrayList. Outputs the string Name was not found if a contact with the specified name isn t found in the ArrayList public void call(string Name){ Searches the ArrayList for a Contact with the specified name. If found, return the Contact. If not found, return null. public Contact getcontact(string Name) { return null; Searches the ArrayList for a Contact with the specified SpeedDial. If found, return the Contact. If not found, return null. public Contact getcontact(int SpeedDial) { return null;

Loop through the ArrayList and prints the name and phone number for all contacts. If the contact has a valid speed dial, include it in parentheses Name, Phone (SpeedDial) or Name, Phone If the phone book is empty, output The phone book is empty public void printphonebook() {

Driver: public class PhoneBookDriver { public static void main (String[] args) { PhoneBook pb = new PhoneBook(); pb.printphonebook(); pb.add("ms B", " ", 10); catch (IllegalArgumentException e) { pb.add("ms B", " ", 1); pb.add("kate", " ", 2); pb.add("jose", " ", 4); pb.add("maria", " ", 7); pb.add("michael", " ", 9); pb.add("jessie", " "); pb.add("jesus", " ", 9); catch (IllegalArgumentException e) { pb.add(null, null, 8); catch (IllegalArgumentException e) { pb.add("john", "", 8); catch (IllegalArgumentException e) { pb.delete("maria"); pb.delete(2); pb.delete(10); catch (IllegalArgumentException e) { pb.call(1); pb.call(4); pb.call(7); pb.call("jessie"); pb.call("patrick"); System.out.println(); pb.printphonebook();

Output: The following shows sample output. The lines displayed in italic are the results of exceptions being thrown. The string passed to the IllegalArgumentException when it was thrown is output: The phone book is empty Speed dials are between 0 and 9. Speed dial 9 is not empty. Name is empty. Phone number is empty. Speed dials are between 0 and 9. Calling Ms B at Calling Jose at Speed dial 7 is empty. Calling Jessie at Name Patrick was not found. Ms B, (1) Jose, (4) Michael, (9) Jessie,
