9 520 West 28 th New York City, Ironworkers Local 580 Complex layout began using inferior equipment Manual entry of many coordinate points errors and slow Ironworker suggested switching to B60..Contractor reluctant to switch Results Engineer 3D model coordinates to flash drive. Ironworker uploads in seconds, no mistakes. Saves countless hours Results Clash and structure location issues previously required hiring a someone to shoot and record coordinates which would be sent to the engineer. Engineer designs a solution, sending coordinate data for manual entry. 3-4 days. Ironworkers use As-Built function to shoot and record actual point data to memory which is sent to the engineer and uploaded into the 3D model. Solution coordinates are sent back to the Ironworkers, uploaded, and implemented. 1 DAY. TIME SAVED = 2-3 DAYS!
