As with the TG-1 before it, the TG-2 supplies light to the sensor through a remarkable, extra-bright maximum aperture 1:2.0 high-speed lens. Together they capture excellent images in conditions that leave lesser compact cameras literally in the dark. For fans of background blur, the manual aperture priority option is a category rarity while close-up and macro lovers benefit from 200mm* telephoto power as close as 1cm from the subject.
