1 USER MANUAL INTELLIGENT SERIES THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA Thank you for choosing our product. Please thoroughly go through the user manual before operation and keep it well for future reference. 2 USER MANUAL TT SERIES INTELLIGENT The product is a handheld thermal infrared imager for temperature measurement. It is designed with /19200 effective IR pixels; and is configured with laser, illuminating lights and visible light of 5 mega-pixel. The product can be connected to PCs, SD cards, mobile devices (IPHONE or Android devices), HDMI displays etc., meeting requirements for various applications. IMPORTANT This is a general manual covering multiple models of thermal imagers from a common product line, so some functions and descriptions in the manual may not apply to your thermal imagers.

3 PRECAUTIONS Please always follow the following precautions strictly: Keep the device as stable as possible to prevent shaking violently. Don t use the device at operating temperatures not allowed nor place it in an environment at a storage temperature not allowed. Do not align the device with strong thermal emitters, such as the sun, lasers and spot welders. Don t expose the device in a dusty or moist environment. Prevent water from splashing onto the device when using it in an environment with water. Cover the lens when not using the device. Place the device and all its accessories into a special packing box when not using it. Do not block any hole on the device. Do not knock at, throw or vibrate the device and its accessories so as to prevent damages. Please don t disassemble the device so as to prevent it from being damaged possibly and you from losing warranty. Don t use the TF card for other purposes. Don t use the device in an environment exceeding its operating temperature so as to prevent possible damages. Do not apply dissolvable or similar liquid to the device and cables so as to prevent possible damages. The device is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery so users must follow the following precautions strictly in order to use it safely: Never try to open or dismantle the battery. Don t place the battery in a high temperature environment or nearby a high temperature object. Don t short-circuit the battery. Don t put the battery in a moist environment or in the water. Once the liquid leaked from the battery enters eyes, flush the eyes with clear water immediately and take corresponding medical cares. Please charge the battery as introduced in the manual and follow the charging steps and precautions. Wrong charging may heat or damage the battery or even cause injuries. Pull out the battery if the device will not be used for a long time. Wipe the device as described below: Non-optical surfaces: Use clean and soft cloth to wipe non-optical surfaces of the thermal imager when necessary. Optical surfaces: Please avoid staining the optical surface of lens when using the thermal imager, especially avoid touching the lens with hands since the sweat on the hands may leave traces on the lens and corrode the optical coating on the lens surface. When the optical lens surface is stained, wipe it with special lens wiping paper.

4 PRECAUTIONS Precautions for use of batteries: The battery can be charged repeatedly. However, the battery is a vulnerable part. If standby time of the device is largely shortened, please replace its battery with an original one provided by the company. If the device operates for a long time especially at high temperatures, its surface will warm up normally. When it s hot, please stop charging it and move it to the shade. Please avoid touching hot surfaces for a long time. When charging the device, it s suggested to use original batteries and charge cables provided by the company. Battery charging time varies with temperatures and its use. When the battery level is low, the system will give a low battery level prompt. When the battery level is too low, the system will be turned off automatically. If the device gives no response when the power button is pressed, the battery has been run out and the device can be launched only after being charged with an original charger for more than 10 minutes. When the battery is charged, the side indicator light on the device will always be red. When the battery is fully charged, the side indicator light on the device will turn green from red, indicating that it s not necessary to chargethe battery any more. 16 A Glance at Functional Areas of the Device 3 C. Short-cut menu This interface displays some short-cut operations that can be conducted to realtime images, mainly including IR mode switch, camera, mode switch, illuminating light switch, laser switch, wireless AP hotspot switch, etc. How to enter the short-cut menu (See image 1) 1. In the real-time image, slide the short-cut icon [ ] at the bottom of the interface upward, and then the system will pop up a short-cut menu interface. Image 1 Image 2 2. The short-cut menu includes the following contents: Camera mode: mainly used for control of real-time images and real-time recording. IR mode: Mainly used for control of the switch among IR mode, visible light mode, fusion mode and PIP mode. Illuminating light: mainly used for control of the start-up and shutdown of illuminating light module. Laser: mainly used for control of the start-up and shutdown of laser module. Hotspot: mainly used for control of startup and shutdown of wireless AP. Shutter compensation: double-tap real-time images, and then the system will conduct automatic shutter compensation and pop up a prompt message. (See image 1) E-zoom: 4x. USB real-time video: Start up and shut down the USB real-time video connection.

Tap the materials setting button in the parameters menu, choose the emissivity of measured object and then double-tap the blank place on the screen to return the real-time interface.

Rotate the outer lens clockwise or anticlockwise to adjust the focal length. 28 Real-time analysis 5 Adding/removing the analysis object 1. Tap button on the right of shortcut menu on the real-time image, and enter the interface of adding analysis object, as shown in the figure 2. Temperature measurement of various analysis objects is available, such as linear, rectangle, round and point objects. Also, you may select to display the maximum, minimum and average temperatures as well as to center the display. With long pressing any analysis object on the touch screen, the system will pop up an object menu including the following functions: Label: temperature labels of the analysis object area can be controlled and displayed (Maximum, minimum and average) Label content: the maximum, minimum or average temperature label in the analysis object area can be displayed. Center: tap this button and the analysis object will be displayed in the middle automatically. Delete: remove the current analysis object.

31 Real-time analysis 5 Manual brightness/contrast control 1. On the real-time image, double tap the maximum or minimum temperature value of the color band on the right of screen. 2. Maximum or minimum temperature value of the color band on the real-time video image will be locked. 3. Tap Max. Temperature or Mini. Temperature, and the system will pop up corresponding value menu automatically. 4. Following the suitable high or low temperature value selected, tap any part of the image, and this value will be saved to redisplay the lasted result.

On the real-time image, tap the gallery button in the bottom middle to enter the main interface of file browsing, select Picture All, and the system will automatically display all local files. 35 Picture analysis 5 Picture zoom-in/-out In the picture editing mode, press and spread two fingers on th e screen. By this time, the picture will be enlarged by up to 10 times. Tap [Select] button and you may select no more than 5 pictures, as shown in the figure 3. Tap [Export as PDF] button in the bottom left corner and a PDF preview file may be created. 39 Customizable emissivity 5 1. Select Parameter-[Material] on the Edit menu. Multiple preset values are available, as shown in the figure 2. 41 System settings 5 In the real-time video interface, tap the setting button at the bottom of the screen to enter the global settings interface. In the settings interface you can modify the main parameters of the system, including temperature units, distance units, brightness, network connection, date and language. 42 System settings 6 Alarm settings It is used to control the temperature and scope of the alarm, the default status is off The range of alarm temperature value need to be obtained in temperature measurement range; if the temperature range is set -20 C to 150 C, then the range of alarm temperature value should be selected in this interval There are high and low temperature options for selecting alarm range If the temperature range is set -20 C to 150 C, the alarm temperature should be determined in this interval. High temperature alarm Turn on the temperature alarm switch, set the alarm temperature range to high temperature, and set the alarm temperature value to -20 C When returning to the real-time temperature measurement interface, the device will immediately give an alarm sound Tap the bell icon to turn off the high temperature alarm sound.

45 System settings 6 Automatic lens recognition The automatic lens recognition is enabled by default, and the corresponding option is automatically recognized according to the lens installed on the device.
