2 Always Check for the most up to date version of this installation guide. This is a step by step guide that will walk you through installing the UCIT LIVE HD 4 Channel Camera System. Basic wiring experience and knowledge is required at the minimum. Please follow each step, otherwise your system may not work properly. 3 Notes and Precautions Please make sure power connections are clear to you before you make the connection. Please follow this guide STEP BY STEP and do not skip around. It is preferred to have a professional installer to install these units (Please see terms). Keep DVR System away from liquids, heavy dust and dirt, fire and extreme temperatures. If possible, keep the equipment in a well ventilated area. Review packing list or what s in the box to make sure you have everything. NOTE: Any modifications to the device or software outside of company standards without company approval are not a responsibility of Safety Track and will void the warranty. Getting Started: Familiarize yourself with the contents of the box. Plan where the DVR will be mounted and how you will run the cameras before you connect to a power source. Also keep in mind any special instruction from your Sales Representative or Customer on mounting location of the DVR, cameras and antennas. Remember to conceal all wires and cabling the best as possible unless otherwise directed.

4 Step 1 MDVR Placement: Find a suitable location to mount the DVR in such a way that is accessible to the fleet manager. (To pull SD card and for troubleshooting) The DVR can also be hidden if desired. Step 2 Connecting Accessories: After unboxing the equipment, and getting acquainted with what s included, start planning out how accessories are going to be run. Each cable is labeled so you know which is the proper cable. A A B B C C A. Attach and run the GPS Antenna (square shaped) to BD/GPS Input. Place anywhere that has a direct sightline to the sky for best reception. B. Attach the 4G antenna to the 3G/4G Input. Place anywhere that has a direct sightline to the sky for best reception. C. (If applicable) Attach the WIFI antenna to the WIFI input. Place anywhere that has a direct sightline to the sky for best reception. To the right is an example of mounting locations. The 4G Antenna is adhered to a the windshield of the vehicle. Another commonly placed location for 4G Antenna is in the A-Pillar. of sight. The same goes for the GPS Antenna. When it comes to the GPS specifically, make sure that the GPS receiver is sticker side down. WIFI Antenna can be placed on the Dash in the corner. (If applicable)

5 Step 3 Camera Mounting: ST-TS341 You have two allen wrenches that come with the Dash Camera. The larger one is for adjusting the view angle of the forward facing lens. (out the windshield) The smaller allen wrench is for adjusting the mounting plate to the angle of the windshield. Further adjustments might have to be made once the camera is mounted. To mount the camera, use the supplied double sided sticky tape. Mount tape to the camera plate then stick to the windshield. The image to the right shows a properly mounted Dash Camera. Placed under the rearview mirror on this particular vehicle. You can ensure proper aiming of the camera by looking at a monitor or live view app. There is a split cable that comes from the Dash Camera. The cables are labeled Front and Back. Front- Forward facing toward the road. Plug this into CAM1 on back of the MDVR. Rear- Driver facing in cab view. Plug this into CAM2 on the back of the MDVR.

6 ST-TS325 This simple style camera typically mounts to the windshield for a drivers perspective view only. It comes with 2 ways to mount, a 3M double sided trim tape (windshield) or screws to mount to headliner/dash. The picture to the right shows the mounting locations of the screws. You will also notice a small hole near where the cable comes out of the back of the camera. This is used in aiming the camera. Check your monitor/live view app to ensure proper aim. The default aim is set as if the camera were to be mounted to the windshield. ST-TS347 This style camera comes with an allen wrench that is used to adjust multiple parts of the camera. Adjust screws on each side where the arrow is pointing to in the picture to ensure you get the proper angle. The 3 screws at the base on the lower side (Circled on the picture above) removes the plate to allow for mounting. Line the cable with the groves on the bottom mount so the wires aren t pinched when mounting. The 3 holes circled in the picture to the right is where you will drill screws to mount the base. From there, simply re-apply and adjust the camera back on the base.

7 To ensure the Camera is in an upright facing position, look for the Green IR Sensor pictured to the right. This should be centered at the bottom for an upright view. To the right is an example of a mounted camera in the back seat of a Ford F-250. Cable will be run and plugged into the MDVR CAM port of the user s choice. ST-TS317 This style camera requires a Phillips screw driver to make adjustments. Circled in the picture to the right is the location of the 3 screws. Removing the 3 screws allows you to remove the top case. From here you can easily rotate the camera lens to achieve the proper angle, as well as screw or drill mount the base. When the camera is moved out of the way you will see 4 places you can screw mount the base for placement. Notice an arrow in the picture to the right. There are 2 of these. One in the lower base and one in the top case. These rubber pieces keep the camera in place once mounted. DO NOT LOSE THESE!

8 On the bottom of this camera is a Peel and Stick application. This should not be used as the primary way to mount the camera. This aids in sticking the base plate before you mount with screws. Plug cable into the CAM port of the user s choice once mounted. To the right is a picture of this style camera mounted on the under side of a 2018 Ford F-150. ST-TS122 This style camera comes with an allen wrench to make adjustments. Circled to the right are 3 screws (on each side) to make adjustments. Tilting the camera angle as well as adjusting the rain shield. At the base of the camera you will notice a center circle and 2 slits on either side. When you drill mount the camera you can run the cable through this center hole into the vehicle. The 2 slits on either side are for screws to mount the camera to the vehicle. To the right is a mounted camera of this style. It is mounted to the rear of an F-150 to view the truck bed and a rear view.

9 Step 4 Connecting to Power Locate the power harness pictured to the right. Depending on where the MDVR is mounted, these cables may need to be extended. Cables are labeled as to where they go. Red: Fused Constant 12V Power Blue: Ignition / Switch Power Black: Ground Be sure to line up the part of the harness that plugs into the MDVR. This is the same style connecter used for connecting the cameras. Use the silver wheel to tighten the cable to the MDVR. Once properly connected to power with the ignition on, you should see the status lights illuminate. Displaying proper function on L.E.D Panel on the MDVR. Power: Solid Red GPS: Solid Green WIFI: Solid Green if applicable otherwise, none 4G: Solid Green if connected to the network SD1: Blinking Green if writing to memory SD2: Blinking Green if writing to memory *Note- SD writes to only one card at a time. The image to the right displays a L.E.D Panel. Mount this with a double sided trim tape. INSTALLATION COMPLETE!
