4 Introduction Vision GAIN offers a comprehensive range of vehicle cameras for Mobile Digital Video Recorders. Our vehicle camera range help to enhance car safety and security for unattended vehicles and can help combat vandalism to vehicles. These versatile cameras are very easy to install and operate and they can also be used for a variety of applications ranging from taxi CCTV, school bus CCTV to fleet management purposes. With a dedicated team of developers a wide camera range has been developed to cater every possible application. With AHD technology our cameras offers an analogue camera that provides the advantages of an IP camera without the additional cost and setup difficulties that are normally associated with IP camera E-3

5 What is AHD? AHD CCTV is an analogue high definition closed-circuit television video surveillance standard that uses shielded cable / coax cable to transmit High Definition video from security cameras to Mobile DVRs. AHD currently supports maximum of 720p HD resolution. AHD CCTV cameras are connected to MDVRs using the same type of shielded cable as traditional analogue CCTV cameras, typically pure copper cable. Compare with other HD camera technique like HD-SDI, one of the advantages of AHD over HD-SDI cameras (another HD over security camera standard) with similar picture resolution is AHD camera has lower cost, no delay and better supporting for longer cable. So far in our experience, installers can reliably use AHD cameras for mobile surveillance industry. What type of AHD do we supply? At this moment, we will supply both 960H AHD and 720P AHD, which are suitable for all of our HD and Hybrid models. Many manufacturers are working on 1080p AHD camera now, and we will keep our customer updated. Why you need AHD over traditional Analogue camera? We have introduced analogue cameras to our customers for a considerable time after the launch of our older model mobile DVRs, but due to the change in customer needs analogue cameras hasn t been the best choice for a while now, like 700TVL analogue cameras can hardly capture a very clear number plate image. Around 2007, megapixel resolution IP cameras were gaining popularity. However, most found that IP cameras tend to be more difficult to setup and the pricing never came down enough for many to justify the higher resolution. But AHD seems to address the major issue that held back most of traditional analogue camera with stable performance and affordable price. We are expecting the full bloom of AHD camera in the very near future. E-4
