Rollei Secure Release System For many people action sport is a huge part in their life today. Very often these activities are filmed with an actioncam. The willingness to take risks and the ambition to show successful and adventurous videos on YouTube or other social media platforms, illustrates regrettably how often accidents can happen. Therefore Rollei has not only redefined the subject actioncam mounts but also has considered the subject safety while using actioncams. Now we are setting new standards regarding the issue safety. As in the range of helmet mounts even small accidents can cause severe injuries, Rollei and Tormaxx GmbH have developed in collaboration the SRS-System (Secure Release System) for using the actioncam mounts. One part of the SRS-System is the Slider-Lock-System. The main problem with all helmet mounts is the firm and low-vibration attachment of the slider within the mount. If the slider is tightened too firmly, the Actioncam will be released in case of an emergency or if the actioncam get stuck for example at a branch. With this new developed SRS-System the slider will be locked firmly by a SafeClip for highest video quality. At a defined pressure the SafeClip will be de formed so that the mechanism will be unlocked and the risk of injury will be minimized. SAFETY CONCEPT
