8 Istallatio 02 INSTALLATION & NETWORK CONNECTION Precautios 1. Istall the camera i a place where the Wi-Fi sigal ca be reached ad without iterferece. 2. Keep it away from humidity such as aroud the humidifier. 3. Keep it away from direct sulight, strog light or dust; istall it i a place with clear view. 4. Do ot istall it i a place where there are a lot of obstacles. 5. Keep the les clea at all times. Wipe off the dust with a soft cloth. 10 Network Coectio ad Settigs Precautios The wireless etwork access may fail, depedig o the commuicatios eviromet. For details about the etwork settigs ad password, cotact your etwork admiistrator or service provider. For a specific Iteret service requirig user autheticatio, you may ot access the service. If this is the case, cotact the service provider. Do ot access the uauthorized etwork. The farther the distace from the Wireless Access Poit, the loger time the etwork coectio may take. If you fail to access the selected wireless etwork, try a differet Wireless Access Poit to make access. For more iformatio about the router or the wireless coectio, refer to the documetatio of the router or cotact the router maufacturer. If the camera is coected to a multiple-wireless Access Poit etwork eviromet, some video packets may be lost, depedig o the etwork traffic load. I additio to the above two situatios, you may ecouter a etwork delay or iterruptio due to the etwork coditios. Some hubs ca have compatibility issues. Coectio usig the Wi-Fi Direct fuctio What is Wi-Fi Direct? Usig Wi-Fi Direct, you ca easily coect your camera to a router without a cable. 1. Whe the power is coected, the power status LED lights up i red ad starts blikig whe boot-up is complete. 2. Whe you press the Wi-Fi Direct butto o the rear side of the camera, the LED color chages to yellow/light gree. Wi-Fi Direct Butto 3. ID : Usig alphabetical characters ad umbers, make a combiatio usig 8 to 14 letters. Password : To stregthe security, create a password with a combiatio of special characters, umerals ad Eglish letters. A user ca directly save videos i their SD card. ` If there is a ogoig evet ow or overwrite to SD card is ot checked, ad there is storage space of 10% remaiig, you caot perform maual recordig. ` If you move the page or tur off the browser without turig off the maual recordig butto, it will be saved for a max of 30 secods ad maual recordig will be fiished. 03 Moitorig Default Camera Set the default camera to moitor i the camera list. Coverts the curret image to full scree size. ` The system supports Iteret Explorer oly. ` If you double-click the scree, the full scree mode is termiated. Move the scree Click the arrow key, ad the scree will move i the arrow's directio. 15

16 q r Item Preset setup Auto Trackig Out of Sight Home Descriptio Adds ad modifies a preset, ad sets the Home/Out of Sight positio. ` The preset ame should be up to 12 alphaumeric characters with o spaces. Automatically tracks a object movig o the scree. ` Whe auto trackig is eabled, the audio detectio is automatically disabled, ad the motio detectio by auto trackig is activated. ` Whe auto trackig is eabled, if o motio is detected for a certai period of time, the camera will automatically move back to the positio where the auto trackig started. Whe Out of Sight [ ] is clicked, the camera moves to the Out of Sight positio that has bee set. Whe the Home butto [ ] is clicked, the camera moves to the Home positio that has bee set. Brightess You ca adjust the brightess of the scree image. ` What is relay mode? If the etwork coditio is ustable, the camera caot make a ormal coectio (P2P), so it will set up a coectio i relay mode. ` Relay mode is added feature where the video from the camera is trasmitted to Samsug server the retrasmitted to the user's computer. ` If you have trouble coectio to the camera, visit " com", go to support page, ad refer to Troubleshootig o it. ` It is recommeded to use oe browser at oe time. ` The Night Visio video produces a differet visibility accordig to the distace betwee camera ad subject. ` The umber of available cocurret users for a sigle camera may vary depedig o the speed of your Wi-Fi router. Motio Zoe Settig 1) Click the < > ico. 2) Drag it to the scree to set the detectio area. t Hide/uhide detailed meu Click o the [ ] ico to uhide or hide detailed settig meu. A Audio Adjust the volume of the built-i microphoe ad speaker of the camera as appropriate. If you set the mic settig to '0', you will ot hear the live audio, ad it will ot be recorded i your SD card. Note that the Two-way audio trasfer fuctio is available oly with the smart phoe applicatio. B Add a camera Click the [ ] ico to register a additioal camera. 17 Preset setup Setup Basic Ifo 1) Click the < > ico. 2) Click the Move Scree arrow key ad adjust the camera i the iteded directio to move to a desired scree. 3) Eter the ame of the preset ad click <OK>. The positio curretly show is saved as a preset. 4) Select the Home/Out of Sight item, click the Move Scree arrow key ad adjust the camera's directio to move to a desired scree. 5) Click <OK>. The positio curretly show is saved as a Home/Out of Sight. Click <Cacel> to maitai the previous settigs. ` To delete the saved preset, click the < > ico o the preset list. b c 03 Moitorig 17

18 Item Serial umber You ca cofirm the serial umber. b Camera password Descriptio Click the <Modify>, you ca chage the Camera password. Eter the curret camera password, ad type a ew Camera password. Firmware update If the curretly used S/W is ot of the latest versio, update it. If you are usig the latest versio, the the firmware will ot be activated. 1) Click <Firmware>. c Camera Name Click the <Modify>, you ca chage the camera ame. Firmware Versio You ca check the curret versio ad the latest versio of your camera S/W. Status LED Flickerless You ca tur o/off the LED i your camera. ` The LED will illumiate whe the power supply is recoected. You ca reduce the occurrece of scree shakig due to the frequecy mismatches with the eighborig lightig. ` If you use the flickerless fuctio outdoors (i a bright eviromet), image saturatio may occur. 2) Click the < > ico to update the firmware. Image ecryptig Ecrypts the trasmitted image. ` If Ecrypt Image is activated, the image trasmissio performace may be affected. Camera default Press the <Reset> butto to iitialize all camera settigs other tha the etwork settigs. ` To reset the camera to its factory default settigs, press the [RESET] butto o the camera. ` If you chage the camera password, you will be logged out ad retur to the camera password iput page. ` Keep the camera password i a safe place as it is used for viewig the live scree of the camera or for chagig the display settigs. 3) Whe the firmware update is fiished, the camera will reboot. J ` The duratio of the firmware update depeds o the size of the firmware file ad the etwork coectio speed. ` Whe executig the firmware update, the camera LED turs purple. ` Please do ot cut off the camera power or Iteret coectio durig a firmware update. 19 Network Item AP (Access Poit) list Descriptio You will see a list of APs (Access Poit) available. Select a desired oe from the list of APs (Access Poit). b c AP (Access Poit) password Hidde SSID You ca access the etwork by eterig the password set for the wireless router. For the password, cotact your etwork admiistrator. Select a differet WiFi etwork, eterig its SSID, the type of security that it uses, ad the wireless password cofigured i the router's settigs. b c ` If you select a o-secured AP (Access Poit), you just ca access the etwork without providig a specific password. ` If you caot coect to the wireless etwork, check that you etered the wireless router password correctly. ` Please refer to the router maual or cotact the router maufacturer if you eed more iformatio cocerig the router or wireless coectio. 03 Moitorig 19

20 Time ` The time will sychroize with the NTP(Network Time Protocol) server automatically. Automatic Time It sets camera's time automatically. Daylight Savig Time Check this optio if you live i a coutry or regio where DST(Daylight Savig Time) is applied. 21 Alarm & Notificatio Camera has ability to sed evet otificatios whe motio or audio is detected. <Gmail> Notificatio The evet alarm is set through Gmail. 1. Select the Google. 2. Eter your Gmail address ad password. 3. Select <Use> of Sed alarms. 4. Eter your address to receive the otificatio ad click <Add>. Now, the receiver full address will be show i the List Box. If you wat to register more tha oe address, you ca just repeat the same procedure. 5. Click <Save>. 03 Item Alarm otificatio Descriptio You ca set motio or audio alerts. Sesitivity level ca also be set. The higher the sesitivity, the more accurate motio ad audio evets ca be detected. ` Whe a evet occurs, if you wat to sed alerts to Gmail, first log ito your google accout. ` Click the Detect Motio/Audio checkbox, ad Auto Trackig will be disabled. ` I the followig case, it may fail to derive the proper results for basic evets ad motio detectio. - The object color or brightess is similar to the backgroud. - Multiple movemets cotiue occurrig at radom due to a scee chage or other reasos. - A fixed object cotiues movig i the same positio. - A object hides other objects behid. - Two or more objects overlap or oe object divides i multiple portios. - A movig object comes close to the camera. <Receiver address> ` If your Google ID/password are saved, oly check Sed alarms. ` If the address for the recipiet etered is icorrect, evet alerts will ot be set. ` Eve if you etered a correct google accout ID, if the ID/password cofirmatio pop up widow appears, click o <Go to the google page.> ad check the google accout. 22 Push alarm Notificatio For users whose cameras are registered, a push alarm is provided via the Web app ad the mobile app. Schedule Alarm Schedule Whe the user desigates a desired day ad time, the alarm will sed oly at the desigated time. <Push Notice Receiver ID> Push alert list shows the list of IDs of users who registered cameras. Whe a alarm occurs, the web site will sed push alerts to each smart phoe. If [ ] is disabled, o push alarm is provided, eve if a camera alarm is geerated. 23 Privacy schedule Item Descriptio Whe the user selects a day ad time, the camera switches to privacy mode at the set time oly. Tur off the camera Whe the camera is i privacy mode, the moitorig ad recordig fuctios do ot work. b Select Privacy Mode Out of sight The camera turs to the set directio. ` You ca use the live moitorig, evet detectio ad recordig fuctios. ` Whe Out of Sight is eabled, auto trackig is disabled. c ` Whe you access the live scree ad disable the privacy mode temporarily, the privacy schedule is automatically activated at the ext hour. ` I a time zoe other tha the time zoe that is set for the privacy mode, the camera moves to the home positio ad all settigs work properly. 03 Item Descriptio Privacy mode Privacy mode is activated oly at the set time o the set day. 31 Troubleshootig If you ecouter a problem with your system, see the table below to solve the problem as quickly ad easily as possible. Please follow the istructio below: Problem I forgot my user ID/ password. Camera is ot coected to the wireless hub. After logged i, I failed to register the camera. Actio - Move to Log-i page Forgot your ID/Password?, ad eter the registered address to which we will sed you the user ID ad/or a ew password. It ca be spammed out depedig o the policy of the server. After logged i, it is advisable to chage the temporary password provided. - If the camera's wireless iteret idicatio LED goes off too ofte, the it meas that the camera istallatio locatio is ot optimal for the wireless iteret eviromet, so i this case, locate the camera close to the wireless hub ad try to coect agai. - Check the password for the wireless hub ad try agai. - Check whether the serial umber etered matches the label o the camera. - Eter the correct password for the camera registered agai ad try to register the camera agai. - Check the camera LED to see if it is yellow or light gree. - If you are still uable to register the camera after this, the reset the camera to factory settigs ad begi agai. (To reset the camera to its factory default settigs, press ad hold the reset butto o the camera for 10 secods. Whe the camera has bee reset to the factory settigs, the camera will be restarted.)
