2 TITAN STEEL ROLLING SHUTTER Steel Roller Shutter Applications: The TITAN, is a heavy duty rolling shutter door for industrial, agricultural and commercial use for factories, warehouses, grain stores, barns, workshops etc. A strong robust and reliable, traditional rolling shutter door requiring little but periodic maintenance, hand built using quality materials. Operation: TITAN 1 - electrically operated, powered by GfA Elektromaten Safedrive motor, a specially developed drive unit for roller shutters. Incorporates BSEN12604:2002 anti-fall back device. TITAN 2 - a traditional hand chain and gear manually operated rolling shutter door, gear operation is through steel machine cut reduction gears and tested hand chain. inish: Galvanised curtain and guides as standard, with remainder primed for painting by others. Shutter curtain retained within steel side channels/guides of suitable depth to suit opening. Maintenance: Shutter doors are built to last and should give years of trouble free service, a periodic maintenance programme will ensure a long life and a door safe to use. Application: The Safedrive is a specially developed drive unit for powering rolling shutter doors and grilles which are not counter- balanced by springs or other devices. All models in the range use a high precision worm gearbox to ensure smooth operation and a long life. Each gearbox incorporates a separate safety brake meeting the anti-fallback requirements for vertically lifting doors, a digital limit mechanism for precise control of the stopping position and is provided with plug in pre-wired control systems. Reliability: The Safedrive has the widest range of torques and speeds of any door drive on the market and in addition there is a whole range of special drives available including higher speeds and explosion proof models. Drives are designed, for a typical door size, to have a life of more than 30,000 cycles but this figure can be increased significantly for high usage applications by appropriate rating of drives. onsult our technical department for your particular application.
