44 Q&A Q1: Where can we see and download the version chart incl. ver. 4 info? A1: You can download the file at our F5/55 forum ( Version-4-0-firmware-and-new-charts/m-p/255069) or shortly from pro.sony.eu at F5/55 product page. Q2: This means, that I can record RAW in the Camera with SxS-cards? A2: No. This is not possible. The SxS cards will stay for XDCAM, XAVC and HDCAM SR formats. The AXS cards (old and new design) will stay ONLY for RAW recording and can only be used with the AXS- R5 and AXS-CR1. Q3: Will we have AutoIris and AutoFocus for the SCL-Z18x140 Lens in V4.0? A3: Auto Iris function is already available since FW Ver3.0. To support Auto Focus we have at the moment no time schedule for implementation.

45 Q&A Q4: Can I record on SxS card in SLog and use different LUTs on viewfinder and SDI monitor? A4: You can record S-Log on SxS and have a LUT on the VF and SDI outputs. You are not able to use different LUT s for the VF and SDI outputs. This is only available on F65. F5/55 will always work with 1x LUT. Q5: Will the SBAC-US20 reader accept the new AXS cards? A5: No. The new AXS cards can only be used with the current AXS-CR1 card reader. To get compatibility with the new design customers will get a card adapter which fits into the AXS-CR1 free of charge. We are going to put one adapter also in the box of every AXS-R5 and AXS-CR1 from E/March. The information how customers can get their foc adapter will be shared later on. Q6: Can I record on SxS cards in SLog and use Rec709 LUT on monitor output? A6: Yes this is possible.
