1 2 Rack Unit (2 RU) Style FMT-G Series ADC has expanded its Fiber Management Tray (FMT) family to include two rack unit (2 RU) high trays (FMT-G series). Available for termination only (with adapters only, or preterminated with IFC or multifiber cable), and termination and splice, the FMT-G series features sliding adapter packs which allow easy access for connecting jumpers and cleaning connectors, ensuring that any fiber can be installed or removed without inducing a macrobend on an adjacent fiber. The FMT-G series is also available to house micro Value-Added Modules (MicroVAMs) for splitting and monitoring optical signals, providing additional flexibility and functionality. The trays are lockable, further ensuring integrity of the fibers by greatly reducing the chance for accidents.

2 Termination with Adapters Only The termination-only fiber management tray provides termination for 72 fibers in an all-front-access design. This tray mounts in 19-inch, 23-inch, or ETSI racks. Sliding radius limiters provide cable management for incoming and outgoing fibers. 3 Termination with IFC or Multifiber Cable The termination-only fiber management tray provides termination for 72 fibers and can be ordered preterminated with IFC or multifiber cable. This tray mounts in 19-inch, 23-inch or ETSI racks. Sliding radius limiters provide cable management for incoming and outgoing fibers. 4 Termination and Splice The termination and splice tray terminates and splices 48 fibers in an all-front-access design. This tray mounts in 19-inch, 23-inch, or ETSI racks. Sliding radius limiters provide cable management for incoming and outgoing fibers. Panels loaded with pigtails come with color-coded 900 micron pigtails. 6 Micro Value-Added Module System The 2RU FMT Value-Added Module (VAM) chassis houses up to twelve MicroVAMs. These MicroVAMs are used for testing and monitoring optical signals; technicians can access both directions of the signal without disrupting service.
