These levels allow our customers to carefully match their budgets to their needs. The new fiberoptic technology employed by FRS-Omega allows thousands more fibers to be packed into the same size image bundle (see specifications on page 2). Our scopes are adaptable to most of your existing video equipment and light sources. We are experts at adapting to your current equipment or upgrading your old equipment to newer technology equipment. 4-way Articulation Articulating Fiberscope Features FRS-Omega offers a 2-way articulation handle for our 2.45 mm, 3.25 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm and 6 mm fiberscopes. We also have a 4-way articulating handle available for our 6 mm, 8.4 mm and 13.6 mm diameter fiberscopes. Additionally, we offer an optional 90 threadon tip for our 5 mm, 6 mm and 8.4 mm diameter fiberscopes. This tip has dual threads to prevent accidental removal of the tip. Our standard insertion tube is made of tempered stainless steel with PVC coating available if required. Tungsten tip braid is available on selected diameters. Non-Articulating Fiberscopes An economical alternative to articulating flexscopes is available in diameters of.5 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm and larger with lengths from 1 foot to 16 meters, depending on the diameter of the scope. 6 Borescope and Flexscope Accessories Light Sources Omega 24 The Omega 24 is right for almost all applications with an amazing pure white light that measures 5,500º Kelvin. The technologically advanced metal halide bulb outperforms all 150-watt light sources. It is more than 60% brighter than a typical 150-watt halogen light source. In comparison, the Omega 24 uses only 24 watts and operates on 115/230V using the transformer or 12VDC power. The Omega 24 fits in the palm of your hand and weighs under 2 pounds. When combined with our Battery Belt Pack, the Omega 24 provides complete portability. Replacement lamps for the Omega 24 are conveniently packaged 3 lamps to a pack. Omega 300X Omega 24 Omega 300X When using the Omega 300X, you are provided with the most intense light output available from any other comparable light source. The Omega 300X operates on 110/220 VAC and is CE/UL Listed. With a maximum rating of 6000º Kelvin, this xenon light source is a must for the most demanding video inspections. Cooling is no problem due to the oversized cooling fan. A manual shutter is easily manipulated to turn down the intensity for reliable and long lasting operation. Optional 4-port multi-turret is available for use with ACMI, Olympus, Stortz and Wolf light guide cables. Replacement lamps are available for the Omega 300X. Battery Belt Pack The Battery Belt Pack comes equipped with a 12-hour charger built in to the battery pack (optional 3-hour charger is available for fast charging). The LED indicator shows how much of a charge is left on the Nickel Metal Hydride batteries. The NiMH cells are designed for high rates of discharge to deliver 100 watts of power. The average run time is 75 minutes per charge. Our Omega 24 Light Source attaches to a pouch on the belt that has 2 outlets so you can add a CCD camera, if required, for total portability at your job site. Our Battery Belt Pack offers a built in orthopedic back support with hook and loop attachment as well as a heavy duty webbing with a clip on the belt for additional security. Tip Adapters FRS-Omega flexscopes can be adapted to your current light source by adding the appropriate light guide connector to the end of the permanently attached light guide cable. Machida LG Adapter ACMI LG Adapter Olympus LG Adapter 0 DOV 90 DOV All FRS-Omega Fiberscopes come standard with a 0º DOV tip. A 90º Thread-on tip adapter is available for our 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm fiberscopes. Page 5

7 Video Systems and Adapters Our new UPDC100 Video Borescope kit, combines the latest technology in digital cameras to provide the capability to save images to either a JPG or TIFF format. This enables you to images to others for review or for documentation. Our newest camera allows for full frame (640 x 480) MPEG video. CCD color cameras can be attached to either rigid scopes or flexscopes to provide video monitoring. They can also be connected to VHS recorders or Digital media for future documentation. Digital Camera Adapter Attaches to Sony Cybershot Camera to couple with the FRS-Omega Scopes. Fits Models DSC-S75, DSC-S85 and DSC-V1. B-Style Eyepiece Couplers Connecting a camera to a flexscope can sometimes be difficult. We provide adapters that bayonet mount onto the specified manufacture s flexscope. The other end of the adapter provides a standard B-style eyecup that will quick connect to any of the FRS Omega endocouplers.
