So building a great compact camera means designing it around usability and a truly outstanding lens. Your Olympus XZ-1 was built this way: its 1: izuiko DIGITAL lens is not only incredibly bright for a lens in a truly compact camera, it matches standards you normally only find in SLRs. Simply speaking, it takes great pictures easily, even when the light is low. The large high-sensitivity sensor and the speedy processor do the rest to make the XZ-1 a super- light and compact camera with performance that right up there with the big guys. And since the XZ-1 is all about creating beautiful pictures, we thought we should put it in a stunning body, too. So you can take pictures with very little available light without using the flash and therefore capture the atmosphere in low-light situations.
