1 WALL RAILS GENERAL WALL RAILS Area of use The Provita wall rail system is suitable for use in normal wards in intensive care wards in pre-operation rooms in the recovery room in doctors surgeries. Due to the variation possibilities the user is given several possibilities for his special needs. Several infusion supports, lights and other practical accessories can be attached to the wall rail everywhere. Technology The rails are manufactured from polished stainless steel and supplied with the necessary attachment material. The rail cross-section is 10 x 25 mm. Each rail is equipped with equipotential bonding in order to ensure static derivation. The rail has a carrying capacity of up to 100 kg per metre (if correctly installed). The high carrying capacity makes it possible to attach various accessories. The use of practical drilling jigs makes installation very easy. Individual lengths are available on request. In practice The Provita wall rail system has proven its worth a thousand times over. The use of the height adjustable supports guarantees ideal patient care and, for example, the one-hand safety height adjustment enables easy and safe operation for the nursing staff. The IWS unit (see the following pages), which enables the attachment of infusion pumps and bags, is another example of our highly practical solutions. The IWS unit can be mounted so that it can swivel and it enables the practical attachment of necessary medical technology and technical appliances. Thus the patient and the staff are able to maintain a greater degree of freedom. It s worth taking a look at the different system components! The supports and the accessories are made of stainless steel and aluminium. Provita provides accessories for the attachment to a single rail or for the attachment to two parallel horizontal rails.
