1 China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Terms and Conditions of Promotion for E-Surfing Enjoy 4G iphone6/6plus Buy Phone Get Rebate Contract Package (2015/D) SHDX/F/JL/F/0/SC Duration of Campaign: July 1 to September 30, Scope of Campaign: During the promotion period, customers in Shanghai Municipality who subscribe the Contract Package with the purchase of China Telecom version of iphone6/6plus via designated channel(s) by China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch (China Telecom Shanghai). 3. Name of Campaign: iphone6/6plus Buy Phone Get Rebate Contract Package 4. Product for Promotion: China Telecom Shanghai Post-paid, Pre-paid 4G mobile service. 5. Promotion Details: During promotion period,customers who purchase the China Telecom iphone6/6plus via designated channel(s) by China Telecom Shanghai and subscribe the Contract Package are eligible for rebate. This campaign is launched on the basis of E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Package. Please refer to China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch: Terms and Conditions of Promotion for E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Package (the valid version at the time of subscription of this campaign shall prevail) for the details and specifics of the package. Customers who subscribe this campaign shall sign the Terms and Conditions of the abovementioned package and comply with the Terms and Conditions. Subsidies of other campaigns or E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Package shall not be adopted in conjunction with this campaign. 5.1 Buy Phone Get Rebate Contract Package: Customers who purchase a China Telecom version iphone6/6plus at contract price fully paid via channel(s) designated by China Telecom Shanghai are also eligible to benefit from Buy Phone Get Rebate contract for fee rebate. Contract details is the same as iphone 6 (64GB)/iPhone 6 PLUS (16GB) Contract Gift Package. 5.2 Remarks on rebates: The rebate is offered in relation to the package selected and is divided into two parts: Monthly rebate from the first month to the second last month is granted on a monthly basis from the first month to the twenty-third month/ thirty-fifth month upon subscription. Rebate in the last month is granted in the twenty-forth month/ thirty-sixth month upon activation The rebate is non-refundable and non-transferrable. It can neither be used for settling outstanding charges incurred in the previous months nor for reactivating a suspended number The system will deduct the rebate from the basic monthly fee according to packages and products selected by customer at the beginning of each service month. The account balance at the beginning of each service month may vary from product to product (Prepaid or Postpaid ). The terms and conditions for the product selected shall prevail. 6. Points-to-note: 6.1 The contract period of the above packages is 24 months/36 months: For new customers or customers with no ongoing contract subscribing to the package (Enjoy

3 4G basic package and Buy Phone Get Rebate subsidies included), the contract period will start from the first day of the next service month upon service subscription. The validity period of E-surfing Enjoy 4G basic package is identical to the contract period of this package Customers whose phone number is used in other promotion campaign of China Telecom Shanghai and customers whose contract will expire within the next six months can join the Enjoy 4G package iphone6/6plus Buy Phone Get Rebate by extending their contract period or upgrading their package to a higher monthly fee package. After changes: The Enjoy 4G package chosen by the customer will be effective upon the first day of the next service month upon service subscription The contract period of the package iphone6/6plus Buy Phone Get Rebate will commence upon expiry of the original campaign.that is: The final contract period =Remainder of contract period of original campaign + Contract period of iphone6/6plus Buy Phone Get Rebate Package The rebate is granted from the first month of this contract After the contract period, Customers may change the service package or terminate the service by following the procedure correspondingly. Offers of E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Package (supplementary card and optional packages inclusively) will be withdrawn when customers change the service package or terminate the service. Customers may choose any valid E-Surfing Plans or other promotions of China Telecom Shanghai at that time. 6.3 Upon contract expiry, if the Customer does not change their service subscription or terminate their account, China Telecom Shanghai shall not terminate the communications services provided to the Customer if it remains capable of providing the Customer with their chosen E-Suring Enjoy 4G package and there is no outstanding balance in the said Customer s account. Service will continue to be provided based on the agreed standard charges of the package.the offer of rebate in this package, however, will be withdrawn. 6.4 Any change and cancellation for service will be activated in the next service month. Cancellation is not applicable in the same month of subscription. 6.5 Customers with outstanding service charges are only eligible for subscription upon clearance of outstanding service payment. 6.6 Customers whose phone number is registered in other promotion campaign of China Telecom Shanghai and customers and its validity period of service is not less than 6 monthsare not eligible for subscribing this package. 6.7 E-Surfing iphone 6 / 6 PLUS Buy Phone Get Rebate Contract is a mobile telecommunications and handset bundle offering. The Customer is only entitled to the offers provided by China Telecom Shanghai on the condition that they use the telecommunications services, UIM card and

4 mobile phone number along with the iphone bound together under the bundle. After the service contract becomes effective, China Telecom Shanghai will check the Customer s mobile phone usage every month. If the handset and the UIM card are used separately, the Customer will be considered to have breached the service contract. China Telecom Shanghai reserves the right to terminate the offers provided to the Customer, or suspend the Customer s mobile phone number. The free credits offered to the Customer will be cancelled during the time when the handset and the UIM card are used separately (Free credits will be cancelled effective from the month of contract breach), and under no circumstances shall the free credits be re-offered. The Customer is obliged to pay China Telecom Shanghai an indemnity for breaching the service contract (the indemnity shall equal the total basic monthly fees of all the packages in the remaining contract period), and is liable for all the telecommunications charges incurred during the month of contract breach. The Customer may bring their valid identity document, together with the UIM card and iphone handset bound together under the service contract, to any China Telecom Shanghai sales outlet to apply for service resumption. If service has been suspended due to separate use of UIM card and handset for more than 90 days, China Telecom Shanghai reserves the right to terminate the Customer s mobile number. 6.8 During contract period, customers may upgrade the service plan into an E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Plan of higher level, maintaining the same type of contract, mobile phone and contract duration. The change will be effective upon the first day of the next service month, while the value of rebate will remain unchanged. 6.9 During the validity period of service, change of service plan, transfer of account, suspension of service, or termination of service for undesignated package will be regarded as withdrawal of this campaign due to personal reasons. All subsidies will be terminated and shall be refunded in full by customers. Besides, customers are required to settle all outstanding payments and liable to the payment for premature service withdrawal (calculated as basic monthly fee*number of months of the package/6). In addition to the above, customers who join this campaign 6 months prior to expiry of their original campaign and withdraw before this campaign commences are liable to relevant penalties in accordance with the terms and conditions of the original campaign Customers are required to settle payment on time. China Telecom Shanghai will terminate the service for post-paid accounts with outstanding payments and real time pre-paid accounts with zero or negative account balance, in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Promotion for E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Package. VII. China Telecom Shanghai provides service in accordance with Terms and Conditions on Telecommunications of the People's Republic of China. Legal responsibility is incurred in case of breach or

5 violation. VIII. The above Terms and Conditions are an appendix of China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Services Agreement, China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Terms and Conditions of Promotion for E-Surfing Enjoy 4G Package (the valid version at the time of subscription of this campaign shall prevail). If the above agreement conflict with the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions shall apply and prevail. China Telecom Corporation Limited Shanghai Branch Customer Registration Form is a component of the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions will be effective upon authorization by customers signature of the registration form. Signature of the registration form will be regarded as confirmation and acknowledgement of the Terms and Conditions and the above agreement.
