4 Smart Buddy Watch Features Function Button Turning On/Off Press and hold the function button to turn your watch on or off. Watch will go into standby mode after 10 seconds, ie. the screen will turn dark. Date and Time Date and time can only be updated by syncing it to your Smart Buddy App under the WATCH section. Steps to sync the watch to your app can be found on page 9. Child s nickname Press the function button on the watch till you see the info icon. Hold the button for 3 seconds. i Press the function button once. You will see your child s nickname. Note Payment Chip Tray Micro-USB Charging Port When the watch is switched off, the time will stop running. The battery life of the watch is 7 days when fully charged. Your child will still be able to make payments even if the watch runs out of battery.

WATCH Disable account ON: Instantly disable the payment chip in your child s watch in the event of loss/stolen watch. Child access Your child will only have restricted access to the mobile app.

11 Mobile App Features Child setting Switch child This button allows you to switch between your children s accounts easily. Child s nickname Sync your Smart Buddy Watch via the Watch section to update your child s nickname on the watch. 12 Mobile App Features Spending Transaction History Track what your child is eating or spending on. You may view the transactions performed in the past 3 months.

Mobile App Features Savings Stamp Savings Allowance Savings This is your child s remaining allowance/unspent amount. E.g. If the daily allowance set is $3.00 and your child has spent S$2.

13 Mobile App Features Savings Stamp Savings Allowance Savings This is your child s remaining allowance/unspent amount. E.g. If the daily allowance set is $3.00 and your child has spent S$2.00, then his/her savings for that day is S$1.00. Total Savings This comprises of your child s total allowance savings and stamp savings. Your child will be able to buy digital Smiley stamps at his/her school bookshop. The total stamp savings will be automatically transferred into your child s eposbkids Account on a monthly basis. Note: Only digital Smiley stamps purchased at the school bookshop with Smart Buddy Watch will be tracked. You do not need to submit the Smiley Stamp Savings Card via the Quick Cheque Deposit Box at any of our POSB/DBS branch.

14 Mobile App Features Goals Edit goal You can change your goal and target amount any time. View previous goals All completed goals will be recorded here. Create a new goal for your child to save for. Only one goal can be set at a time.

Auto-transfer of Stamps Savings If you have provided the account number of your child s eposbkids Account during registration, the total stamp savings for the month will be automatically transferred to your child s account by 15th of the following month. Otherwise, any stamps savings will be transfered to the parent s debiting account.

16 Mobile App Features Watch Watch Setup You can change your child s profile when you need. Sync watch Update steps clocked on your child s Smart Buddy watch periodically by syncing the Smart Buddy Watch. Your child s nickname, date and time will also be updated.

17 Mobile App Features Allowance Edit Allowance Select the pen icon to edit allowance. Choose the days if you would like to repeat the same allowance. Any change of the allowance limit will be instantly updated. $100
