3 LET S GET STARTED There are a few things you should know that will help make your Telstra mobile experience better, and help save you time and money. MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNTS Take control of your accounts and services by tracking your estimated data usage, monitoring your call charges and paying your bills, all in one spot. With My Account and the Telstra 24x7 app, you can securely access your accounts at any time. Register for My Account Go to telstra.com/myaccount, have your account number handy (you can find this on your bill) and register now for My Account. Get the Telstra 24x7 app It s available for use on iphone, ipad, Android smartphones and Facebook (from your PC or laptop). Download the Telstra 24x7 app from the App Store or Google Play and you can: view a summary of your bill track your estimated call and data usage locate your nearest Telstra store. Once you ve downloaded the app, simply enter your My Account details so you can view all of your linked Telstra accounts and services. Without My Account, you can only view limited information within the Telstra 24x7 app. Data charges may apply when downloading the Telstra 24x7 app. MANAGE YOUR DATA In Australia browsing charges apply when visiting sites from your browser or when using apps. If you find your plan s included data allowance isn t enough, add a generous monthly Data Pack to boost your bytes. You can use your extra data however you like within Australia, and you ll get an SMS alert as you near your limit. Go online to telstra.com/overseas and: check International Roaming availability and rates by using our handy Itinerary Builder activate International Roaming online at least 3 days before you leave, if you haven t already activated it purchase an International Casual Traveller Data Pack before you leave via telstra.com/roamingpacks or m.bigpond.com/ir from your mobile. 02. Take control of your data downloads by deactivating any automatic software updates, push notifications, etc. 03. Use Wi-Fi hotspots in airports, hotels, cafes, etc, to reduce your data downloads. 04. If you do decide to use data at any time, check your roaming settings afterwards, as they can change automatically. 05. Check your call diversions before you go. YOUR MOBILE PIN/PUK CODE If you can t remember your mobile PIN, or your phone is asking for a PUK code, go to telstra.com/pinpuk. Then just follow a few simple steps to find out your PUK code and unlock your phone. LOST OR STOLEN MOBILE Call immediately and request a block on your phone so no one else can use it.
