1 Austin Bank Mobile Austin Bank Mobile enables our customers with an online banking account to access their account information from a mobile device. Austin Bank Mobile offers 3 ways to access your accounts: Download an app for your mobile device Send a text message using your mobile device Use a mobile browser on your mobile device Mobile Apps Use the downloadable app to: Check account balances View recent account activity Transfer money between your accounts Locate ATMs and branch locations Requirements: To use the Austin Bank Mobile downloadable app, your mobile device must have an operating system that supports application downloads and may require a data service plan. Download the Austin Bank Mobile app using the link sent by SMS text message during the enrollment process. How do I download Austin Bank Mobile to my phone? Best Way: Using this method to download and activate Austin Bank Mobile banking will insure that you are able to: access all functions like Text Messaging and Mobile Web Browser make changes to your mobile banking options like changing a phone number get a link to Mobile Browser, deactivate a specific phone from Mobile Banking, or download app. 1. Log in to your online banking account using 2. Click on the User Options tab. 3. The Options page is displayed. Locate the Mobile Banking Profile section and click Enroll Now. NOTE: For security reasons, only one user can register for each mobile device. However, once you complete the registration process, you can add more phones to your Austin Bank Mobile account. 4. The Terms and Conditions page is displayed. Select the Accept check box and then click Continue.

2 5. The Your Details page is displayed. Select the accounts that you wish to access by Mobile Banking and enter a nickname to be used to identify each account in text messages. 6. The Austin Bank Mobile Number page is displayed. Enter your mobile phone number including area code. Click Next. 7. A text message with an activation code is sent to the mobile phone number entered. NOTE: The activation code expires 24 hour after you receive it. 8. The Activate Your Phone page is displayed. Enter the activation code received in the text message. Click Activate to complete enrollment. 9. A text message with a short code (96924) is sent to the newly active mobile device. NOTE: The short code is for use when utilizing Austin Bank Mobile text messaging service. Alternate Way: Using this method to download the app will limit your mobile banking experience to only services available through the app. You will not be able to make changes to your mobile banking options or access functions like Text Messaging and Mobile Web Browser. 1. Search the app store applicable to your phone type for Austin Bank Mobile. 2. Download the Austin Bank Mobile app. 3. Enter your online user name. 4. Enter your online password. 5. Begin using the lite version of Austin Bank Mobile. Frequently Asked Questions: 1. What is the difference between Online Banking and Mobile Banking? Online banking typically gives you access to more functions than Mobile Banking. There are some functions that are only available online like changes to your online banking account (i.e. changing passwords, addresses, security data, etc.), bill pay, scheduling of message events, creating scheduled transfers. 2. Is Mobile Banking secure? Yes. Austin Bank Mobile uses the same security protocol used by our Online Banking service. 3. Is there a charge for Mobile Banking? No. You may be charged for SMS text messages and Internet access depending on your carrier. Web access is needed to use Mobile Banking. Check with your service provider for details on your phone s capabilities and specific fees and charges. 4. Is my personal or financial information stored on my phone? No. Austin Bank Mobile does not save any files with personal or financial information on your mobile device. That information stays strictly within online banking. Some phones (e.g.,

3 BlackBerry, Android) have logo and branding files that are copied to the mobile device. Those files do not contain any personally identifiable information. 5. Which accounts can I access using Austin Bank Mobile? You can access any account you have set up in online banking. You select which accounts you want to access using Austin Bank Mobile during the enrollment process. 6. How current is the account and transaction information? When you view your account balance, you see the current available balance. When you view transaction history, you see the most recently posted transactions. Pending transactions do not display. 7. Can I add more than one mobile phone? Yes. You can enroll several mobile devices for Austin Bank Mobile. To add a new phone, complete the Austin Bank Mobile Enrollment section. 8. What if my phone number changes? If your mobile phone number changes, simply update your mobile phone number in Austin Bank Mobile. To update the mobile phone number, complete the How To Change a Phone Number section. 9. What if my phone is lost or stolen? If your mobile device is lost or stolen, no one can access your account without knowing your password and, in some cases, your unique user name. To prevent unauthorized access to your account, you can deactivate your phone in Austin Bank Mobile. To deactivate your mobile device, complete the How To Deactivate or Stop Using a Mobile Device section. 10. Which phones can I use for Austin Bank Mobile? Hundreds of models are supported including these major brands: iphone, BlackBerry, HTC, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Pantech, Samsung, Sanyo, and Sony Ericsson. Phones on a number of different operating systems are supported including, but not limited, to Android, BlackBerry, ios, Symbian, Windows Mobile, Linux, Palm webos, and Maemo. 11. Which mobile service carriers support Austin Bank Mobile? Austin Bank Mobile works on all major mobile service carriers in the U.S.: AT&T, Sprint, T- Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless. Austin Bank Mobile also works on a number of the smaller service carriers, including, but not limited to, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Metro PCS, Pioneer Cellular, Union Wireless and Virgin Mobile USA. 12. I have a prepaid plan; can I use Austin Bank Mobile? Austin Bank Mobile works with most prepaid plans, but we cannot guarantee that your carrier supports standard U.S. short codes. T-Mobile prepaid does not support short codes. Text Banking Use Text Banking to: Check account balances Review recent account activity

4 Find ATMs and branch location Requirements: To use Text Banking, your mobile device must send and receive text messages to and from a short code (96924). Most mobile devices are capable of sending and receiving text messages, so your phone is most likely compatible with Austin Bank Mobile. NOTE: Some mobile service carriers charge for outgoing text messages and/or for each message sent and received. How to use Text Banking: To View Account Balances: Send B, BAL, BALANCE, BALANCES to the short code received when you enrolled and activated your mobile device. A text message is returned displaying the balances for the accounts enrolled in Austin Bank Mobile. To View Transaction History: Send STMT, TRAN, or HIST plus the nickname you assigned to the account (example: HIST Checking) to the short code received when you enrolled and activated your mobile device. A text message is returned displaying the transaction history for the account. Reply to the transaction history text with the word NEXT or MORE to view the next group of transactions. A text message is returned displaying the transaction history for the next group of transactions. Repeat steps 3-4 to view the next group of transactions. To Locate Austin Bank ATM locations: Send ATM plus the Zip code, city, or state for the ATM to the short code (96924) received after activating your mobile device. A text message is returned displaying the ATM location(s) for Austin Bank near the information you input. To Locate Austin Bank Branch locations: Send BRANCH plus the Zip code, city or state for the branch to the short code received after activating your mobile device. Example: (Branch 75701) A text message is returned displaying the branch location(s) for Austin Bank near the information you input.

5 To Locate Austin Bank ATM and Branch locations: Send BOTH plus the Zip code, city or state for the branch to the short code received after activating your mobile device. I have text messaging enabled on my mobile device, why can t I receive text messages: Your mobile service carrier may be blocking short codes or you may have blocked short codes on your mobile device. Short codes must be enabled to use Austin Bank Mobile. Short codes are abbreviated phone numbers, usually five digits, used to send Austin Bank Mobile messages. 6 How to View Accounts: 1. Login in to Austin Bank Mobile using your current Online Banking login. 2. The Main Menu page is displayed. Select View Accounts. 3. The Account Balances page is displayed. All accounts enrolled in Austin Bank Mobile display along with the current balance. Select the account balance to view a list of transactions for the applicable account. 4. The Account Details page is displayed. Select Transactions to view transaction history for the applicable account. 5. The Transaction History page is displayed. Select Prev to view the previous transaction. Select Next to view the next transaction. Select Back to return to the History page. Select Menu to return to the Main Menu. Select Log Off to close Austin Bank Mobile. Frequently Asked Questions: 1. When I click the link for the Austin Bank Mobile website nothing happens, what should I do? Every mobile device and mobile network is different, so you may not be able to click on a link in a text message. Try these troubleshooting tips: Open the text message and copy the website URL.
