The South East Local Enterprise Partnership s funding of 198,500 supports the expansion of engineering workshops with testing and analysis equipment. I work at The Fountain Workshop, creating water features for large companies and councils. They ll need electrical systems to run the features, and keep them safe and legal. This course will be very useful to me in the future. I wanted to hone my electrical skills by doing the HNC, but keep my spectrum quite broad. The syllabus is wide-ranging, so I can keep my options open. The programme is very well structured, and everything is online, so it s a lot quicker. The tutor is very good at balancing the class with practical and theoretical teaching. You can apply the theory to a physical board, and test things out yourself. 2 AM2 HNC in Electronic Three days You will need to have achieved a pass in the Level 3 Electrical Technical Certificate. This qualification is ideal for electricians looking to achieve the high-quality skill standard set by employers within the industry. This will demonstrate that you have all of the necessary relevant and up-to-date safety-critical competencies. Completion of the AM2 end point assessment will enable you to apply for full-time employment within the electrical industry. You will be assessed by a series of timed practical assessments and a multiple choice examination. 7 Level 4 Apprenticeships in Our higher-level apprenticeships in have been designed in collaboration with local and national employers to ensure that your apprenticeship is relevant to the engineering sector, combining key theoretical knowledge learnt at College with practical, hands-on workplace experience. Your qualification will enable you to progress within your chosen company, or seek further training elsewhere. You ll learn the appropriate techniques and practices required within the industry, developing your skills of managing a project based on an identified need. Your analysis and critical skills will also be improved through the support of our industry-experienced lecturers. Your mathematical methods and statistical techniques will also be improved in order to analyse and solve problems within an engineering context.
