Note: The Exact date and course fee will be intimated to the individuals, company / corporate on request. Note 1: The course fee is inclusive of Course Material and Coffee/Tea during the Course and Examination Days. Lunch can be arranged on request at actual. Note 2: Examination fees for (IS 13805) Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) + GST 18% is to be paid separately per candidate. For Surface NDT (MT & PT) the examination fees will be Rs.4,000/- + GST 18% Note 3:Examination fees for (SNT-TC-1A) Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred only) + GST 18% is to be paid separately per candidate who is opting for the Examination. For Surface NDT (MT & PT) the examination fees will be Rs.2,500/- + GST 18%. Note 4: Candidates may choose to appear for examination either as per IS:13805 (NCB) or as per SNT-TC-1A Candidates may also choose to appear for both by paying additional examination fees. Note 5: Up to 30% concession may be given on course fees to candidates sponsored by NDT service providers (ISNT members), Life Corporate and Life Member for limited seats. Note 6:Students* who are studying in Government /reputed Engineering colleges/ Science colleges / Polytechnic Colleges are considered for a concession of 50% of course fee. Note 7: Venue Theory & Examination will be held at ISNT Chennai Chapter premises. Practical demonstrations & Practical Examinations will be conducted at respective Labs. Reporting time on first day of the course is 8.30 AM for registration. Course commences at 9.00 AM. On every day The candidates shall bring their own non programmable Scientific Calculator. EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS FOR LEVEL II COURSE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION METHODS EXPERIENCE BIS IS TH Standard, RT & UT 18 Months Diploma in Engg. / Degree in Science ET 9 Months PT, MT & VT SNT-TC-1A 10 TH Standard RT, UT, LT, IR& ET 12 Months Diploma in Engg. / Degree in Science PT & MT For the above requirements, candidates shall produce necessary documentary evidence as a proof to the satisfaction of ISNT and appointed Examiner. Note 1. Candidates who wish to appear directly for Level- II examinations without Level-I certificate, shall satisfy the total hours of work experience plus class room training and total experience duration for the Level-II requirements 2. Following are to be enclosed by the candidate while submitting the application for certification Examination. a) 3 Pass port size Photographs (cut size to passport from bigger sizes are not allowed) b) Eye fitness certificate from the Employer / A Level-III/ Ophthalmologist certifying for minimum of J2/ J1 on a standard Jaeger Chart and Ichihara charts for colour blindness as per the certification scheme requirements (SNT-TC-1A or BIS as applicable). c) Photostat Copies of the certificates for i) Educational Qualification, ii). Experience certificate from the present employer or Self-declaration certificate vetted by the client to whom they do the service, in the case of private NDT Practitioners.

4 Payment The mode of payment can be paid by Cash, Cheque, DD, RTGS, NEFT and any other mode approved by RBI. Please inform us if you pay in NEFT / RTGS. The course fee will be refunded or adjusted for the next course only if the request is made from the participant at least one week before the commencement of the course. However, a sum of Rs.100/- will be deducted towards administrative charges in case of refunding fee. If the candidate does not attend the course after registering, 25% of the course fee will be deducted and the balance amount will be returned or retained for the forthcoming course based on the written request from the sponsoring organization or the candidate as applicable. Candidates who opt for IS examination and SNT-TC-1A 2006 examination shall pay fees for both the examination.

5 Fee Concession eligibility A) * Students who are studying in Government /reputed Engineering colleges / Science colleges / Polytechnic Colleges are considered for a concession of 50% of course fee. As 25% of seats are reserved in each NDT method for the students, the reservation would be made on first come first basis. Students are eligible only for attending the training Programme, they need to pay only 50% of the course fee and no need to pay Exam fee as they are not eligible for examination. They would be provided only Participation certificate on full attendance of the courses. Student participants are eligible for the Certification examination only after fulfilling necessary work experience as required for the certification scheme applicable. B) The participants who bring their own equipments for practical and Examination will be given concession in the course fee as fixed by the Technical Committee time to time. C) UP to 30% concession may be given on course fees to candidates sponsored by NDT service providers, Life Corporate and Life Member for limited seats, if payment is made on or before the commencement of the course. D) The industries who are arranging their Lab facility at free of cost for conducting Practical and Examination for all participants of the course are eligible to avail concession to their nominated participants which is as fixed by the Technical Committee time to time. 5. TIMINGS From 9.00 to hrs during Training days Examination schedule (Theory and practical) will be declared a day before the examination day. 6. ASSISTANCE FOR ACCOMMODATION Assistance for accommodation will be done by ISNT on request from the participants, if such requests are made preferably at least one week in advance. ISNT stands no Guarantee for the accommodation or for the pre-booking and rates. Assistance will be provided for booking for accommodation only. 7. COURSE MATERIAL The course material will be issued in advance for those candidates, who have paid the course fee in full or whose cheque for course fee in full is realized on or before 15 days of the commencement date of the course. For other candidates the course material will be issued on the day of registration. 8. EXAMINATION RESULT & CERTIFICATE ISNT-CHENNAI CHAPTER has a practice of sending the examination results to the successful candidates immediately after the declaration of the results by the examiner. Later, certificates will be sent to successful candidates by speed post/courier. On no circumstances, status of result or any information regarding the examination will be intimated over phone.

6 9. RENEWAL OF CERTIFICATE The NDT certificates will be renewed if the certificate holder is fulfilling the following:- A) Valid ISNT membership on the date of renewal. B) Certificate Holder shall fulfill all the renewal requirements stated in the certificate scheme (SNT-TC-1A) for renewal. C) Required renewal fee shall be in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of ISNT Chennai chapter. The renewed certificate shall be sent from the ISNT office by Post /Courier to the address specified by the candidate or his sponsor. 10. CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT OF COURSES. In the event of unavoidable circumstances, the Chapter has every right either to postpone or cancel the course with necessary intimation in advance, as the earliest possible. In such cases sponsoring organization or the participant can give their option either for refund of the course fee paid or for the adjustment of paid fee for attending the forthcoming course. For the refund option, full course fee will be refunded without any deduction to the sponsoring organization or to the participant as the case. The postponement & cancellation of Programme is at Chennai Chapter s preview. Participants are requested to check the confirmation of Programme with Chennai Chapter Office before the commencement of Programme at least 15 days and also confirm their availability to the Courses as registered.
