1 HOLY ANGEL UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY VOICE OVER IP COURSE SYLLABUS Course Code : 6VOIP Prerequisite : 6NET4WAN Course Credit : 3 Units (3 hours LAB) Year Level: 3 RD /4 TH year Degree Program: : BSIT with Area of Specialization in Network Administration Course Description: The course introduces the concepts concerning convergence of voice and data networking. It provides a detailed technical description of key VoIP protocols and procedures. Students taking this course will gain an understanding ofthe different Cisco Unified Communications solutions to voice network including hands on implementation of simple VoIP using Communication Manager Express (CME) software. At the end of the course, students will be able to: Course Outcomes Graduate Outcomes Aligned to C1 Demonstrate understanding and skills in the Operation of Voice Networks.
