2 Establishment: JEA was established in the year Our Vision : Seeking to organize and develop the engineering occupation with the member professionally, scientifically, Socially and economically

3 Our Mission : Working to organize and develop the engineering occupation, abilities,, and to offer the best professional and technical services to its members.

4 Our Objectives : A. Organizing profession's practices B. Defend the members interests and dignity C. Participate in planning and developing educational and training programs in engineering, D. Provide a decent life to engineers and their families in the event of disability, old age, and other emergency cases.

5 Offices and Branches : JEA has two main offices: one in Amman, one in Jerusalem; it also has 17 branches in different cities of Jordan.

7 Association Committees: JEA, Council formed about 33 committees working to assist them to Serve engineers in two main Fields of engineering sciences, and social aspects.

8 Provision of Services JEA provides the following services for its members: professional services : 1a. Engineering practice. 2a. Continuing education. Union (syndicate) services. 1b. Following up and protecting of members rights. 2b. Training & employment. Social Services : 1c Social security insurance. 2c pensions & retirement fund. 3c social interchange protection. 4c Medical insurance. Investment in : 1d Land (for housing & agriculture). 2d Stock Exchange. 3d Equipment purchasing.

13 On Thursday 14th Jan.1981 the signatures to this Constitution and those who may be elected to join them founded a society in the name of the Jordan Concrete Association. Its headquarters is in Amman and the field of its activities covers the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan and it may establish offices and branches in other cities.

14 Endeavour to promote and develop concrete design and execution technology. Participate in procedures of quality control and specification of materials used in concrete. Participate in collection of information, data and economical and technical statistics connected with concrete and safety of concrete structures. Participate in the studies, research and investigations on all matters related to concrete. Follow up technical advancement and development in the methods for the design and construction of concrete works and exchange of technical information related to concrete works and participated and technical information related to concrete works and participated and coordinated with Jordanian and Foreign concrete research centers and institutions. Subscribe to, Associate with and assist International Concrete Societies and participate in conferences on concrete works.
