3 IMPACT PLUS Navigatr Prgram Prgram Requirements The Navigatr prgram is available t any candidate wh meets the necessary requirements. The requirements include the fllwing: Demnstrate the ability t facilitate and cnsult with custmers at a prfessinal level, as determined by the Navigatr review bard. Demnstrate executive level presentatin skills, as evaluated by the Navigatr review bard. Educatin: A Navigatr must have a minimum f a BA/BS degree. Wrk Experience: A Navigatr shuld have a minimum f 5 years f business t business sales experience with large, internatinal, matrixed rganizatins and a prven track recrd f successfully building relatinships t develp business. Industry experience required in at least ne f the fllwing: Utilities: Pwer Water/Waste Water Energy: Oil & Gas Cal Nuclear Transprtatin: Rail Marine Infrastructure: Bridges Highways 3 P age

4 Successful cmpletin f the Navigatr training curse and rle / playing scenaris Successful cmpletin/passing scre f the Navigatr examinatin. The requirements abve must be cmpleted within tw (2) years f start date. Start date is defined as the first day in which the applicatin is apprved. 1.0 Applicatin 1.1 In rder t cmplete the applicatin prcess, all candidates are required t cmplete a prfile and an applicatin, which can be fund nline at Candidates are nt required t be members f NACE Internatinal r the NACE Internatinal Institute Candidates will be asked t agree t terms and cnditins at the time f creating a prfile Maintaining an updated prfile is the respnsibility f the candidate t ensure all infrmatin is current, including physical and mailing address, phne numbers, and address. This will help NII efficiently track and prcess the Navigatr dcumentatin, and recertificatin. The NII is nt respnsible fr any lack f cmmunicatin resulting frm an ut f date prfile r missed cmmunicatin A Navigatr applicatin cnsists f several parts: Applicatin Wrk Experience and CV/Resume Vide (Details n the fllwing page) Attestatin, Cde f Ethics, and Affidavit Nn- Refundable Applicatin Fee Candidates will receive an receipt acknwledging the date f their applicatin submissin. Staff will review applicatin fr cmpleteness within furteen (14) business days If any prtin f the applicatin is incmplete, the applicatin will be returned t the custmer fr cmpletin. 4 P age

5 Applicatin Fees 1.2 All Navigatr applicatins are $250 USD and are payable thrugh either check, wire transfer, r credit card. The payment frm is included with the applicatin. 1.3 All applicatin fees are payable at the time f submitting the applicatin. 1.4 Applicatins will nt be prcessed until full payment is received. 1.5 Applicatin fees are nn refundable. Review and Verificatin f Applicatin 1.6 Once staff has reviewed the applicatin fr cmpleteness, the applicatin will be sent t the review bard. The review bard is respnsible fr reviewing the applicatin t ensure the candidate has met the requirements as listed abve. 2.0 Pre-Assessment Vide / Interview 2.1 All candidates are required t submit a vide presentatin as part f the applicatin prcess The vide presentatin tpic will be n NACE Ambassadrship. Explain NACE t smene wh has n knwledge f NACE The vide must be between 3 5 (three t five) minutes in length The review bard will review each vide submissin, and each candidate will be scred n a scale f 1-4 n the fllwing elements: Preparedness Attire Speaks Clearly Psture and Eye Cntact Presentatin Skills Enthusiasm Cmprehensin / Subject Knwledge Vice / Vlume Stayed n Tpic 5 P age

6 2.1.4 The vide must be submitted via t navigatrsupprt@nace.rg. 2.2 After the applicatin and vide have been submitted, an interview will be scheduled with each candidate The interview will be held via Skype. (A cmputer with a camera is required, as well as a Skype lg-in ID.) 3.0 Training Curse The interview will be scheduled thrugh the IMPACT PLUS Prtal Crdinatr. S/He will cntact the candidate t schedule. 3.1 All candidates are required t attend and successfully cmplete the Navigatr training curse. This curse includes rle playing scenari based exercises. Every candidate will be required t participate and successfully cmplete this prtin f the training exercise. 4.0 Examinatin 4.1 All candidates are required t successfully pass the exam If the candidate des nt receive a passing grade, s/he has the ptin f retaking the exam. See Retake Plicy belw. 4.2 All NII examinatins are the sle pssessin f NACE Internatinal Institute. Any cpying r sharing f any prtins f the exam(s), either in writing, rally, r electrnically, withut the express written cnsent f NACE Internatinal Institute is prhibited and may result in further actin. Exam Fees 4.3 All exam fees are $250 and can be purchased at the same time as registering fr the training curse. Exam Plicies 4.4 With the exceptin f the pilt exam, the Navigatr exam is a Cmputer Based exam (CBT) and is administered at a Pearsn VUE testing center. 6 P age

7 4.4.1 All exam candidates must present a pht ID, and will nt be allwed t enter the exam area withut an ID. An fficial gvernment ID is required. Pearsn VUE determines whether sufficient ID has been presented. The pilt exam will be given thrugh Scantrn and scres will be sent t the candidate within 7-10 business days fllwing taking the exam, via . It is the candidate s respnsibility t ensure that NACE Internatinal Institute has the crrect address n file. Exam Reviews 4.5 With the exceptin f the pilt exam, candidates taking a CBT multiple chice exam will be given a scre reprt immediately upn cmpletin f the exam. (See Examinatin Guide n NII website fr additinal infrmatin related t the cmputer based testing.) Scre reprts are nt available fr the pilt Scantrn exams. Exam Retake Plicies 4.6 The exam re-take fee is $ There is n waiting perid fr the first retake. 4.8 A fur mnth waiting perid is required fr the secnd retake. 4.9 The candidate has three attempts, including the initial exam, t successfully pass the exam. A renewal applicatin must be submitted every tw years. Bi-annual fee f $300 USD. The NII has the ability t require a delta exam t assess any new skills that are a result f changes t the cre prgram, including the scpe f the survey.
