2 Introduction: The Full Stack Networking Boot Camp course allows students to build hands-on networking experience with reality-based labs and scenarios. By the end of the course the student will be familiar with what it takes to be a network engineer and will have learned related skills that are directly applicable to the real world of network engineering. Although some foundational learning is included as part of the course a pre-existing knowledge of basic networking concepts, fundamentals, and basic Cisco IOS command line are highly recommended. The course labs and projects are primarily focused on Cisco-based hardware and software. Course Format Overview: 5-day, 10 hours per day, project-based networking learning course! The methodology for this course is to learn & configure, and then design & implement the course project. By following this methodology the student will have an understanding of the project components and how to configure them before designing and building a project of their own.

3 # " $ % & Day 1 Network Architectures and Foundation The first day is designed to provide a foundational level of knowledge that will be called upon throughout a networking career. Topics include: How to Be a Rockstar Network Engineer, Understanding Cisco Architectures, Getting Certified, and Landing Your Dream Job. Day 2 - Core Networking and Wireless On day 2 we focus on core networking technologies such as routing, switching, and wireless. We jump right into hands-on labs and equipment setup/configuration. The Instruction and labs are related to router and switch concepts and configuration, LAN/WAN design, Quality of Service, and wireless access point configuration. Day 3 Network Security On this day we work in aspects of router and switch security as well as core firewalling. The labs and assignments are related to access-lists, IOS firewalling, switchport security, ASA firewall and VPN configuration. The projects in this module pertain to a secure LAN implementation, core firewall deployment, and remote offices. Day 4 Voice over IP Day 4 adds networked voice to the table. The voice labs and assignments are related to voice router and switch configuration, dial-plan, voice gateway configuration, voice QOS, and phone deployment. Day 5 Full Stack Project On the final day we bring together everything we have learned thus far and build out a realitybased project that utilizes all the technologies presented in the course. Each team will design and build a full stack network of their own.

4 Expectations: This course is very intensive (10-hours per day) and requires a large amount of focus and attention. Students will be expected to give their full attention to the course and completion of the exercises, labs, and projects. Students will also be expected to work as a team when required and help each other get through the assignments when working as a team. This boot camp is an on-location classroom style learning course, and students will be expected to make their own accommodations for the full 5 days. Student Assessment: Students will be assessed by their instructors/mentors throughout the course for feedback purposes, however there will be no formal testing. This course conveys a lot of information and is intense by nature, but is also designed to be fun and enjoyable. Requirements: Laptop computer with Ethernet and Wireless NIC Eager minds Certificate: After completion of the Full Stack Networking Boot Camp students will receive a certificate of completion that states all the technologies and concepts that were touched upon in the course.
