12 COB1030: COBIT Foundation Exam (online) The COBIT Foundation Exam is a knowledge test, which can be taken online through the Internet. Candidates taking the exam can demonstrate that they understand and master COBIT. The questions in the exam are tailored to the COBIT Foundation Curriculum. However, candidates can also take the exam without completing the course. Candidates who complete the COBIT Foundation Course and pass the exam obtain 8 CPE credits from ISACA. This training is used as part of an Awareness campaign to develop an understanding for the implementation. - PHASE 2: IT management and Audit professionals undergo the COBIT Foundation Course and complete and pass the COBIT Foundation Exam: For IT management professionals and IT audit professionals COBIT becomes part of their day to day life. 17 - PHASE 3: The implementation team learns the implementation considerations through an advanced workshop: The advanced workshop Implementing IT governance using COBIT helps these professionals to effectively manage the implementation. In a classroom workshop environment students learn to understand and apply a roadmap to implementation. Students participating in the e-learning Foundation course in Phase II will be supported by an instructor who is available in the background. Two conference call sessions are organized for these students: one at the beginning of the course and one at the end of the course. The conference call at the end of the course is used to prepare students for taking on the COBIT Foundation Exam.
