The Max PVN solution consists of: Max PVN Software The PVN software is installed on a server at headquarters. The Max PVN is available in four different versions, supporting between 10 and 150 simultaneous calls. Calling Devices Each location on the PVN network requires a connection to the PVN server. Compatible calling devices include: Max Gateway Series, which connects to regular phones and/or a PBX system and supports up to 30 simultaneous users per unit Max IP10, a single-user IP phone Max PVN Dialer, a software interface that enables users to make PVN calls from a PC Max PVN Software Max Gateway Series 14 Max IP10 Phone Max PVN Dialer

Caller dials PSTN phone number 2. Max gateway sends Net2Phone call request message to PVN server 3. PVN server authorizes call 4. Call is forwarded to the Net2Phone platform where the enhanced services application is determined. The Net2Phone gateway then delivers the call request. 5. Caller receives dial tone and dials the appropriate outside (POTS) telephone number 3. Max gateway sends Net2Phone call request message to PVN server 4. PVN server authorizes call 5. Call is forwarded to the Net2Phone platform where the enhanced services application is determined. The Net2Phone gateway then delivers the call request. 6.
