5 SGSN-MME 13B Overview LZU R1A Description The mobile network has evolved over the years as user behavior influenced higher data requirements, multi services and QoS granularity. Ericsson has taken a step forward to equip the modern mobile networks with the latest in technology and equipments with the SGSN-MME 13B, providing features such as mobility and session management across the EPC and GPRS networks. This course will provide an overview of the features, functions and architecture of the SGSN-MME. 10 SGSN-MME 13B Maintenance LZU R1A Description SGSN-MME 13B Maintenance is the course where the participants localize the hardware units inside the SGSN-MME, understand the functions of these components and perform the field maintenance activities on them. This course will provide the students with skills to act on hardware faults, perform hardware replacement and follow maintenance routines using the system documentation and local Operation and Maintenance (O&M) tools updated to the SGSN-MME 2013B revision. 25 EPG 13A Delta LZU R1A Description The Ericsson EPG is a node capable of GSM/WCDMA/LTE triple access and a telecom proven platform deployed in many major networks globally. With the release of the 13A iteration, the EPG includes further support on both of its hardware platform, namely the next generation high capacity SSR 8020 and the existing Juniper M120/320.
