Business Services Longer Term Contract Options If a cusmer on a longer Term contracted service cancels service before the end of the contracted term, a termination charge of one-half of the charges remaining for the unexpired portion of the contract period will be applied. If a cusmer upgrades Internet service the same contract length term for an Enterprise Internet service with a higher rate, the Company will waive the early termination fee. Wireless Home Network Kit - Where an existing Internet cusmer opts for a Northwestel-provided modem with wireless home networking functionality, the Cusmer is responsible for installation and configuration. Wireless Home Networking Kit Rate (Business and Residence) $29.95 ii. Modem Loss or Damage charge $99.00 iii. Reserved IP Address Set-up Charge $19.95 Other Non-Recurring Charges may be applicable as described in General Tariff 3001 s g. Enhanced Wireless Cable Internet Gateway service (Gateway Service) (M2) The modem Northwestel uses provide the cusmer s Internet services may not include wireless routing functionality. Gateway service is a wireless modem/router which provides a Wi-Fi network allowing the cusmer connect their Internet service without having connect their devices their modem via a wireline. Gateway service allows the cusmer wirelessly share several devices at the same time such as printers, computers, scanners and web cams without having move or unplug them. Gateway service is provided free of charge on the following Cable Internet packages: Residential Internet 250, Business 50, Business 100, Business 150 and Business Internet 300. Definition Dial-up Internet access is a form of Internet access that uses the facilities of the public switched telephone network (PSTN) establish a dialed connection Northwestel s Internet service provisioning equipment via telephone lines. The cusmer s computer or router uses a modem encode and decode Internet Procol packets and control information in and from analogue audio frequency signals, respectively. b. Terms and Conditions i. This service is only available where facilities exist. ii. This service is available both Residential and Business Cusmers. iii. In order access Internet with this service cusmer must provide their own modem. iv. Network performance and connectivity is not guaranteed. Northwestel will make reasonable efforts ensure that the portions of the service that it has direct control over are functioning properly. v. The cusmer is solely responsible for all access the service through the cusmer s account and shall comply with Northwestel s Internet service policies. vi. All conditions in 101 Terrestrial Cable and ADSL Internet Services Tariff apply this service with the exception of conditions d, e, f, and i. vii.
