The Dlby Cnference Phne requires Pwer ver Ethernet (PE). The phne cnsumes a maximum f 12.95W. Yu shuld cnnect the phne t a netwrk switch prt capable f prviding this pwer. If a PE netwrk prt is nt available, cnnect the phne using an AC-pwered, IEEE 802.3af-cmpliant PE pwer adapter. In sme envirnments this will require a firewall cnfiguratin change. T use as an IP PBX phne the Dlby Cnference Phne requires netwrk cnnectivity t the IP PBX call manager. The requirements fr the Dlby Cnference Phne are similar t thse f ther SIP endpint devices. The BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice service requires the fllwing prts t be pen fr utging cnnectins thrugh yur Internet firewall: Prtcl:Prt Purpse Cmment TCP:443 Call Cntrl HTTPS prxy is supprted. In mst envirnments n firewall changes are required t have the Dlby Cnference Phne cmmunicate with yur IP PBX. If yur IP PBX is ut-surced r hsted utside f yur netwrk then yu may require firewall changes. The firewall changes yu require will depend n yur PBX prvider and yu shuld refer t their firewall guidelines fr guidance Hw d I cnfigure an HTTP prxy? Sme envirnments require the use f an HTTP prxy in rder t access the Internet fr web services. Yu can cnfigure HTTP prxy frm the phne web administratin interface using: Settings -> Dlby Vice Cnferencing Service -> Prxy. If yur envirnment uses Web Prxy Aut Detectin (WPAD) the phne can be cnfigured t use that by setting Enable WPAD t true. T manually cnfigure the phne t use HTTP prxy with Prxy Aut Cnfig (PAC) file, first btain the prxy address and authenticatin credentials frm yur netwrk administratr. Enter thse details int the Prxy settings fields. If n authenticatin credentials are required yu can leave them blank. 2.4 LAN and VLAN Hw d I cnfigure the phne t use VLAN? The Dlby Cnference Phne supprts cnfiguratin f VLANs using the Link Layer Discvery Prtcl (LLDP), thrugh the Dynamic Hst Cnfiguratin Prtcl (DHCP) r thrugh static cnfiguratin. The phne has a strict pririty it uses when cnfiguring VLAN. It will use whichever it identifies first in the sequence: LLDP, DHCP r static. If LLDP discvery is enabled: Use LLDP t discver VLAN If successful, use discvered VLAN and end. Else attempt DHCP discvery If DHCP netwrk cnfiguratin is enabled: Use DHCP t discver netwrk cnfiguratin If ptin 132 present, use discvered VLAN and end. Else attempt static cnfiguratin

In envirnments that d nt supprt Internet cnnectivity frm the IP PBX VLAN there are a number f pssible slutins. The best ptin is t recnfigure the IP PBX VLAN t supprt utging Internet access. This preserves the lgical separatin between vice traffic and general data and allw Quality f Service (QS) cnfiguratin t be preserved. The next best ptin is t place the Dlby Cnference Phne n the data VLAN and have the phne cnnect t the IP PBX frm there. If nne f the preferred ptins are available, the Dlby Cnference Phne t supprt tw separate VLANs, ne used fr BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice cnnectivity and the ther fr IP PBX cnnectivity. T cnfigure this mde yu must cnfigure the Secndary VLAN parameters fr the phne. This is an advanced cnfiguratin and yu shuld refer t the Dlby Cnference Phne Administratr s Guide fr detailed infrmatin n hw t cnfigure this. 3 Vice Services 3.1 BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice Hw d I cnfigure the phne fr BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice The Dlby Cnference Phne s factry default mde is PBX Only mde. The IT Admin can enable the phne t be the BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice mde during the ut f the bx prvisining prcess. The peratin mde f the phne must be either Cnference Only Mde r Dual Mde in rder t use the BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice service. The Dlby Cnference Phne uses Secure Sckets Layer (SSL) technlgy t secure its cnnectin with the BT MeetMe with Dlby Vice service. SSL utilizes cryptgraphic certificates t prtect the cnnectin and the phne and service must agree in rder fr SSL cnnectins t be successful. The mst cmmn cause f SSL cnnectin errrs is miscnfiguratin f the phne time, causing it t believe SSL certificates are nt yet valid r have expired. T cnfirm this, check the time and date the phne displays n its embedded user interface. If it is incrrect cnfigure the phne time, either manually r by cnfiguring an NTP server. The next mst likely cause is that the Certificate Authrity certificates that the phne is using t verify certificates frm the BT MeetMe service have expired. Yu can cnfirm this by cnnecting t the Dlby Cnference Phne using SSH and attempting a netwrk cnnectivity test t the BT MeetMe service using: system ping my.webjin.cm. If this test fails then the phne des nt have crrectly cnfigured Internet cnnectivity. These include participant seating psitin, participant vice vlume, ambient nise level, flr/wall/ceiling material, ceiling and air cnditining fans and vents and prjectr placement. Dlby recmmends testing the phne in the rm if yu have any dubt as t hw the phne will wrk in it befre planning a permanent deplyment. 4.2 Where shuld the Dlby Cnference Phne be psitined? 5 General Fr ptimum perfrmance the Dlby Cnference Phne shuld be placed n a slid table in the center f the rm. 5.1 Hw d I find the IP address f the phne? If yu wish t remtely access the web interface f a Dlby Cnference Phne yu must find the IP address it is cnfigured with. Yu can find the IP address the phne has acquired frm its embedded user interface by tapping: Settings -> -> Abut -> General, and then scrlling t find the IP address entry. 5.2 Hw d I remtely lgin t the phne web interface? The Dlby Cnference Phne supprts cnfiguring Netwrk Time Prtcl (NTP) servers which the phne will use t btain and maintain the time it uses fr display and lgging. The IP address f the NTP server(s) may be btained by DHCP Optin 42, IP PBX, r static cnfiguratin. The phne prvides a default NTP server address f time.nist.gv which it will use if n ther server is cnfigured. The phne beys a strict pririty when btaining the NTP server addresses. If DHCP netwrk cnfiguratin is enabled then: Use DHCP t discver netwrk cnfiguratin If ptin 42 present, use discvered NTP server addresses and end. Else attempt IP PBX discvery If IP PBX integratin is cnfigured: Discver NTP server addresses frm IP PBX If successful, use discvered NTP server addresses and end. Else attempt static cnfiguratin If NTP server address are statically cnfigured: Use cnfigured NTP server addresses and end. Else use default What timeznes are supprted? The Dlby Cnference Phne supprts cnfiguratin f a lcal timezne fr the phne t allw lcal time t be displayed n the embedded user interface. The phne supprts a subset f the Unix timezne entries. Means Methd Embedded User Interface Settings -> Administrative Settings -> enter passwrd -> Factry Reset Web Management Interface Lgin t the Web interface. Chse Tls -> Utilities -> select the factry default ptin. Hardware Buttns While at the hme screen, hld the mute and vlume dwn buttns depressed fr 10 secnds. Yu will be prmpted as t whether t prceed. Lg files are upladed t the prvisining server f the Dlby Cnference Phne. There are a number f different types f lg file that may be generated, and lgging is cntrlled frm the Dlby Cnference Phne cnfiguratin files. The mst imprtant parameters are listed in the fllwing table. Cnfiguratin Parameter Prvisining.Server.UpladDir Descriptin This parameter specifies the directry n the prvisining server that lg files will be written t. The parameter is a file path extending frm the lgin directry f the Dlby Cnference Phne prvisining server accunt. Yu may use the string [MAC] t indicate the Dlby Cnference Phne shuld
