Task 1: Cnfigure Static and Default Ruting Step 1. Cnfigure static ruting frm ISP t CENTRAL. Use the passwrds cisc and class t access EXEC mdes f the CLI fr ruters. Cnfigure tw static rutes n ISP using the exit interface argument t the fllwing netwrks: / /24 Step 2. Cnfigure default ruting frm CENTRAL t ISP. Cnfigure a default rute n CENTRAL using the exit interface argument t send all default traffic t ISP. Step 3. Test cnnectivity t Web Server. CENTRAL shuld be able t successfully ping Web Server at Yur cmpletin percentage shuld be 4%. If nt, click Check Results t see which required Task 2: Add and Cnnect a Ruter Step 1. Add the BRANCH ruter. Click Custm Made Devices and add an 1841 ruter t the tplgy. Use the Cnfig tab t change the Display Name t BRANCH. Display names are case-sensitive. D nt change the hstname yet. Step 2. Cnnect BRANCH t CENTRAL. Chse the crrect cable and cnnect BRANCH t CENTRAL accrding t the interfaces shwn in the tplgy. Step 3. Check results. Yur cmpletin percentage shuld be 9%. Using the tplgy and the fllwing requirements, design an addressing scheme: Addressing is prvided fr all WAN links. Fr the VLANs attached t BRANCH, use the address space /24. Starting with the largest hst requirement, assign subnets in the fllwing rder fr all VLANs. VLAN 15 needs space fr 100 hsts VLAN 25 needs space fr 50 hsts VLAN 1 needs space fr 20 hsts VLAN 99 needs space fr 20 hsts Step 2. Dcument the addressing scheme. Cmplete the addressing table using the fllwing guidelines. Yu will add the remaining devices in the next task. Assign the first address in each VLAN t the crrespnding BRANCH subinterface. The subinterface numbers match the VLAN numbers. Assign the secnd address in VLAN 99 t S1. Assign the secnd address in VLAN 15 t the Custmer PC. Assign the secnd address in VLAN 25 t the Register PC. Assign the last address in VLAN 25 t the laser printer. Be sure yu recrd the apprpriate subnet mask and default gateway fr each address. Task 4: Add and Cnnect the Devices in the Address Space Step 1. Add S1, Custmer PC, Register PC, and the laser printer in the /24 address space. S1 is a 2960 switch. Add it t the tplgy and change the Display Name t S1. Display names are case-sensitive. D nt change the hstname yet. The PCs and printer are listed under End Devices. Add tw PCs and a printer. Change the display names f the PCs and printer accrding t the tplgy. Step 2. Cnnect S1 t BRANCH. Chse the crrect cable and cnnect S1 t BRANCH accrding t the interfaces shwn in the tplgy. Step 3. Cnnect Custmer PC, Register PC, and the laser printer t S1. Chse the crrect cable and cnnect the PCs and printer t S1 accrding t the interfaces shwn in the tplgy. Yur cmpletin percentage shuld be 22%. If nt, click Check Results t see which required If yu changed the hstname f S1 in Step 1, then yur percentage will be higher. Using yur dcumentatin, set the basic cnfiguratin fr BRANCH and S1, including addressing. Use cisc as the line passwrd and class as the secret passwrd. Use as the clck rate. Graded prtins f the basic cnfiguratin include: Hstnames, which are case-sensitive. Interface addressing and activatin. Set clcking t bps. Fr interface Fa0/0.99, cnfigure VLAN 99 as the native VLAN. Interface VLAN 99 creatin and addressing n S1. Activating VLAN 99 is dne after the trunk is cnfigured later in the activity. Step 2. Cnfigure remaining devices. Using yur dcumentatin, cnfigure the PCs and printer with the crrect addressing. Step 3. Test cnnectivity between BRANCH and CENTRAL. CENTRAL shuld nw be able t successfully ping BRANCH. S1 cannt ping until trunking is cnfigured. Yur cmpletin percentage shuld be 63%. If nt, click Check Results t see which required Task 6: Cnfigure PPP Encapsulatin with CHAP Authenticatin Step 1. Cnfigure CENTRAL t use PPP with CHAP fr the link t BRANCH. The passwrd fr CHAP authenticatin is cisc123. The link ges dwn. Step 2. Cnfigure BRANCH t use PPP with CHAP fr the link t CENTRAL. The passwrd fr CHAP authenticatin is cisc123. The link cmes back up. Step 3. Test Cnnectivity between BRANCH and CENTRAL. It may take Packet Tracer a little lnger than real equipment t bring the interfaces back up. Once the interfaces cme up, CENTRAL shuld be able t successfully ping BRANCH. Yur cmpletin percentage shuld be 71%. If nt, click Check Results t see which required Task 7: Cnfigure OSPF Ruting Step 1. Cnfigure OSPF n CENTRAL. Cnfigure OSPF using the prcess ID 1. If nt, click Check Results t see which required Task 8: Cnfigure VLANs Step 1. Add VLANs t S1. VLAN names are case-sensitive. Add and name the fur VLANs using the fllwing specificatins: VLAN 15; name is Custmers(Default) VLAN 25; name is Emplyee VLAN 99; name is Management&Native Step 2. Assign prts t the apprpriate VLANs and activate interface VLAN 99. Using the VLAN Prt Assignments shwn in the tplgy diagram, cnfigure the access prts attached t the end devices and assign each t the crrect VLAN. Enable trunking n the Fa0/1 prt and cnfigure it t use VLAN 99 as the native VLAN. Activate interface VLAN 99, if necessary. It shuld already be up. Step 3. Check results. Yur cmpletin percentage shuld be 100%. If nt, click Check Results t see which required Task 9: Verify cnnectivity Step 1. Verify that Custmer PC, Register PC, and the laser printer can ping each ther. Step 2. Verify that Custmer PC, Register PC, and laser printer can ping Web Server.
