1 MPLS Dax DX-6510GTE-L3 next-generation data center 40G switch has advanced hardware and software architecture design, built-in modular 1+1 redundant power supplies, 4+1redundant fans, cross ventilation and wind direction adjustable. Dax DX-6510GTE-L3 supports data center features such as Data Center Bridging*, VEPA* fully applicable to the data center TOR (Top of Rack) application requirements of the switch. DX-6510GTE-L3 includes 48*10GE SFP+ ports and 4*40G QSFP+ ports. DX-6510GTE-L3 supports IPv6 with hardware and passes the IPv6 form certification Phase II. 2 Full Data Center Features As new generation data center switch, DX-6510GTE-L3 supports full data center features such as DCB*(Data Center Bridging),VEPA*(Virtual Ethernet Port Aggregator), which not only improves the efficiency, guarantees the flexibility, but also enhanced the scalability of datacenter network. Advanced Routing Dax DX-6510GTE-L3 deliver hardware based IP routing for both IPv4 and IPv6. RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2 and BGP4 provide dynamic routing by exchanging routing information with other Layer 3 switches and routers. DVMRP, PIM-SM, PIM- DM and PIM-SSM Multicast Routing Protocols send IP multicast traffic from one subnet to another to support maximum data streams. IGMP snooping features forwarding of multicast packets for live streaming of voice and data without any swell up in network broadcast congestion. VRRP prevents your system from failing by dynamically backing up multiple L3 switches for routing. Open Flow DX-6510GTE-L3 supports OpenFlow 1.0 and 1.3 standard protocol. OpenFlow network is increasingly becoming a trend as the core protocol of SDN network. It makes the network easier programming OpenFlow brings the high performance to datacenter users via self-defined network. Enhanced Security DX-6510GTE-L3 support IEEE 802.1X port-based access control and MAC-based access control to ensure all users are authorized before being granted entry into the network. Access Control Lists (ACLs) can be used to restrict access to sensitive network resources by denying packets based on L2/ L3/L4 header information. Secure Shell (SSH) encrypts network management information via Telnet for secure network management. RADIUS Authentication enables centralized control of the switch and restricts unauthorized users from altering the configuration of the switch. Anti DoS attacks ensures high security to the network.
