2 Pakedge Router Kit Highlights Assured Link Continuity Pakedge Router Kits provide dual WAN ports capable of failing over to a secondary ISP in the case of a network outage. The USB port provides the ability to utilize a 3G/4G wireless uplink, allowing a network to fail over to a cellular signal keeping critical network applications up and running 100% of the time. The internal network incorporates spanning tree protocol (STP), which prevents data loops, as well as creates and activates alternate link paths if the primary link becomes unavailable. Link aggregation, which connects multiple switch ports in parallel, provides additional link continuity against port failures. High Performance Pakedge Router Kits provide enterprise level performance without compromising value. The Pakedge K60D Router Kit has a staggering 500,000 session count maximum, with up to 4,000 new sessions created per second ensuring that no matter how many applications are running on your network, the router won t create a bottleneck. Traffic management technologies, such as VLANs and Trustream, combined with port-by-port bandwidth control and high switching capacities ensure that traffic will bandwidth intensive, low latency application traffic flow freely throughout the network unencumbered by lag, jitter, or slowdown. Preconfigured VLANs Each router kit comes with 6 preconfigured VLANs, enabling easy setup of devices like IP cameras, streaming media devices, VoIP phones, and other broadcast or latencysensitive devices that require their own segmented subnetwork for best performance. Pakedge Network Bonding allows select applications such as media streaming to communicate across VLANs to reach user devices on other sub networks, enabling them to receive content without compromising on the managed traffic control benefits of VLANs. Remote Management Pakedge CASC (Control and Automation System Compatible) configurability allows connected devices to be discovered and managed through the switch, enabling automation controllers to manage connected devices using the switch s CLI. When integrated with Pakedge BakPak, the switch and connected devices can be monitored and managed remotely through the cloud from any web, ios, or Android device - ensuring high network and device uptime. PoE/PoE+ Capable Control touch panels, IP cameras, wireless access points, and other powered devices are seamlessly supported through the PoE/ PoE+ ports. 3 Network Prioritization Pakedge TruStream algorithms ensure that large networks with multiple bandwidth-heavy services won t notice media slowdown, VoIP jitter, or other problems common to multimedia based networks. Network traffic types, such as video streaming, and corresponding ports are assigned a priority by the user. Once set, network traffic is recognized and categorized, ensuring that latencysensitive traffic is given high priority. Enhanced Security A built-in firewall, Guest Networks, Preconfigured VLANs, and a host of other security features come standard in Pakedge Router Kits. Each kit also has optional UTM (Universal Threat Management) through Fortinet allowing an enhanced firewall with Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Application Control, Web Filtering, VPN, anti-spam, and anti-virus all directly at the gateway, ensuring that infected traffic can never access sensitive data on your network. An included guest network isolates visitors from the main network. Users can specify what devices, through their associated MAC addresses, are allowed or restricted on a port by port basis through the use of white lists and black lists. Unauthorized network access is prevented through Web/Telnet password, Access Control Lists (ACL) and AAA/RADIUS authentication.
