With its MultiPath architecture, the Tenor provides voice connectivity over the IP network and to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). The Tenor employs its patent-pending SelectNet technology to monitor calls for jitter, packet loss, and latency, and can transparently switch mid-call to the PSTN whenever conditions demand, assuring high quality voice all the time. The Tenor A200 is equipped with a four port Ethernet switch and built-in router with NAT firewall. The Tenor A200 provides Internet access for your entire network with only one IP address and supports a firewall to protect against intruders. With its unique switching intelligence, the Tenor A200 makes VoIP both easy and risk free. More intelligence means greater flexibility With its MultiPath Call Routing, the Tenor can intelligently route calls between the key telephone system or phone, the PSTN, and the IP network, to achieve the best combination of cost and quality. The Tenor can also route calls over IP to reduce costs, and then transparently hop-off to the PSTN, to reach off-net locations. It can also support two stage dialing with IVR.
