The EP52 already has an impressive track record in weighing, belt-weighing and loss in weight applications world-wide. Our engineers have now combined Procon s extensive weighing and process control experience, together with the latest electronic and software technologies, to ensure the EP52 offers the most up to date instrument available. This latest model boasts an impressive array of features designed to put the user firmly in control. These include: The EP52 is available as an IP65 sealed Panel Mount Unit, or supplied in a Stainless Steel Wall Mountable Enclosure Enhanced 24 bit resolution Versatile graphics display Safety critical operational functions Twin serial ports (including full Modbus support) Optional Ethernet IP interface Optional Profibus DP module USB port for software backups and upgrades via memory stick 24V powered as standard Range of digital/analogue inputs and outputs Fully programmable high level sequence control language on site The versatile graphics display, comprehensive menu features and alphanumeric key pad bring finger tip control to the batching process, allowing user-defined text and parameters to be entered. The user can carry out a range of menu operations via the menu selection keys, including recipe selection and method of recipe use. In addition the process sequence can be edited together with the input of any required delay set ups. The EP52 Proweigher can be used as a stand-alone process batch controller, bag filler, or even as a trip amplifier. The unit incorporates user-definable, bidirectional serial ports with choice of protocols as standard and so can easily become part of a distributed control system (DCS). Precision in control
