5 Application example ESD53URRS data lines, unidirectional Connector protected highspeed data lines 3 ESD sensitive device 5 The protection diode should be placed very close to the location where the ESD or other transients can occur to keep loops and inductances as small as possible. It is strongly recommended that pin 5 is directly connected to a ground plane on the board for propper functionality. Pin is not connected.
