2 Application As an instrument In combination with the Climatix controller ensures correct operation of the air conditioner of Mandík company, including control and monitoring of operating parameters. As a room unit The room unit is used in rooms for measuring the room temperature and controlling the air conditioning unit Characteristic The control panel is designed for semi-recessed, surface mount in a recessed conduit box. Cable entry is through the back door. The device consists of the electronics section and the back cover. The back cover can be removed after loosening the locking mechanism. The front cover includes a printed circuit board, a room temperature sensor, a LCD panel and the buttons for testing the dampers, settings the parameters, setting the time, switching the fan on and changing the values. On the back cover are the terminals for connecting a two-wire conductor with communication. Both covers are plastic. Opening the housing Opening the housing is described in the installation manual included in the package. The unit is in the condition before last switching off ('Economy, or 'Comfort ). - Press the button 'Mode for selecting the mode Comfort or Economy - The currently selected mode of the unit is indicated on the display by the icon. - In mode 'off', the unit is turn off, and the controller works in frost protection mode. Heating is turned on only when the room temperature falls below 5 C. - In mode 'Economy', the controller tries to heat or cool to achieve the required temperature. The default setting for this mode is 17 C. This required value can be displayed by pressing the button 'Plus' or 'minus'. - In mode 'Comfort', the controller tries to heat or cool to achieve the required temperature. The default setting for this mode is 22 C. This required value can be displayed by pressing the button 'Plus' or 'minus'. Setting of the required temperature for the "Comfort mode There are two ways for settings the required temperature for the 'Comfort' mode. Short-term is until next change of mode, or long-term. Shortterm is set by the buttons 'plus' or 'minus' during the active mode 'Comfort'. For long-term change, press the button 'Options'. In the screen is displayed flashing parameter 'Set1' with current desired value in the 'Comfort' mode. Use the buttons 'Plus' or 'Minus' for make the changes. 4 Setting of the required temperature for the Economy mode There are two ways for settings the required temperature for the 'Economy' mode. Short-term, until next change of mode, or long-term. Shortterm is set by the buttons 'plus' or 'minus' during the active mode 'Economy'. For long-term change, press twice the button 'Options'. In the screen is displayed flashing parameter 'Set2' with current desired value in the 'Economy' mode. Use the buttons 'Plus' or 'Minus' for make the changes. Input is ended by pressing the button 'Info '. Viewing Information Fan speed Press the button 'Info' for displaying screen with information values of connected sensors, depending on the current configuration of air conditioning unit, for example humidity, supply air temperature, temperature of heating water, outside temperature, etc. Viewing information is ended by the button 'Options'. Press the button 'Fan' for setting the fan speed, If the fan motor is controlled by a frequency converter or if used EC motor. The maximum and minimum speed limit is set by the parameters SP17 and SP18. Between the minimum and the maximum speed, the speed it can be set in six steps. Fan operation is indicated by an icon on the display. If the speed is cannot be changed, then press this button only for turn on and off. Engineering notes The Room unit receives its power from the connected controller via the 2-wire interface (low voltage, SELV). The Control panel must be connected to the ACC071 regulator with a two-core twisted pair cable. It possible the use unscreened cable. Mounting instructions The device is suitable for semi-flush mounting with a recessed conduit box. The unit should not be mounted in recesses, shelving, behind curtains or doors or above or near direct heat sources. Avoid direct sun and draught. The conduit must be sealed on the device side, as currents of air in the conduit can affect the sensor reading The admissible ambient conditions must be observed Mounting instructions are enclosed with the device. Installation Local installation regulations must be observed STOP Warning The equipment is not protected against accidental connection to AC 230 V. 4 / 7

5 Commissioning Connection After interruption of the two-wired connection, the communication is restored only when the control panel inquire the address of the regulator. The cycle time for questioning is 250 ms.
