The FOCUSSAM splicing modules offer access to selective fibres for maintenance and upgrades without affecting active. Depending on the installation conditions and on cables sizes, standard Optotec heat or cold applied cable seal kits are available. FOCUSBOX3S has provision for all cable splicing and sealing requirements (IEC592, IP 55). FOCUS BOX3S can store up to 144 splices (48 when Single Circuit splice trays are being used). FOCUSBOX3M has provision for all cable termination and sealing requirements (IEC592, IP55). The box manage up to 24 terminations (48 when SFF connectors are being used). FOCUSDDMBOX3M FOCUSDDMBOX3M is a sealed (IEC592, IP55) Double Door Metal enclosure with double separate access to differentiate the splicing from the patching zones. This design allows the termination of max 48 standard connectors (96 when SFF connectors are being used). FOCUSDDMBOX3M provides mechanical and environmental protection for both incoming fibre cables and outgoing patchcords. Doors with lock can be removed for a better access to both areas. The inside patch panel can accommodate most common adapters types and aramidic yarns retainers to guarantee the necessary strain relief when splicing pigtails with the incoming cable. 0046(0)
