GENERAL INFORMATIONS The PCS controller is an automated water control system based on microprocessor. Easy to read menu thanks to clear LCD display. All options and settings are easily accessible through an logically structured, intuitive menu system and can be navigated using a touch screen display. All probes and sensors are connected to one central control unit which gives us the ability to monitor all parameters. In addition there are programmable alarms available that can be set in case of any malfunctions or hardware damage. MAIN FUNCTIONS ph Control and dosing REDOX Control Chlorine Control and dosing Temperature monitoring Measuring cell flow control Managing working time of the filtration pump Constant Internet connection Automatic saving of data history Additional functions Water level control with level sensors and solenoid valve Chemical substances containers level control Temperature control Wireless internet connection UNIT SPECIFICATION Display LCD 7 WITH TOUCH SCREEN INTERFACE ORP electrode mv WITH Ag/AgCl CORE AND Pt TIP ph electrode 0-14 with basic correction, built from Ag/AgCl core with silicon oxide covered glass tip Chlorine electrode 0-10mg/l Cl2 depolarization galvanic cell with swirling glass spheres with platinum(pt) and copper(cu) electrodes Temperature -10 do 85 C, ability to control the electric heating element, CO exchanger and solar system Steering method manual and automatic Memory automatic parameter history saving Remote control unit control and archival data access through internet service Dimensions 320x 522x129 mm Main power supply connection 230V AC Weight 12kg Warranty 2 years for electronic components 3

INSTALATION WALL MOUNTING PCS CONTROLLER has to be securely mounted on the wall. The area has to be clean and dry to guarantee correct functioning of the controller. The controller should be mounted close to the water inlet and shielded from heat and sun. The controller should be mounted in safe place: - easily accessible to personnel - if possible, in separate well ventilated room, away from corrosive chemical solutions. - in safe distance from mains transformers, pump engines and high voltage lines - guarded from unauthorized access. INSTALATION IN CIRCULATION SYSTEMS All installation work has to be done carefully according to all health and safety rules. The monitoring-adjusting station and all others electric devices like electric heating or circulation pump has to be separated from the main electric circuit. All installation instructions of electrical devices have to be upheld. INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIREMENT In order for the unit to be remotely monitored and controlled it has to be connected to the internet network. The internet provider or internal network configuration is not important. There is an additional option of wireless Internet connection under condition that there is a Three phase electrical socket where the controller is going to be installed. The alternative is a radio Internet connection but only if the connection signal is very strong In the room where the controller is going to be installed. OPERATIONS the LCD Monitor is a high resolution touch screen display unit. The touch screen is very sensitive so only a light touch is needed to operate. The screen is quite resilient and robust but the user has to make sure not to scratch it and keep it away from liquids(like chlorine, ph+/- etc.) The display can be cleaned with gentle cleaning agent and soft cloth and then rinsed using clean damp cloth. The display is divided In to two parts: On the left side there is menu with selection of options: readings, ph, Chlorine, Redox Temperature, Main pump, Reports, Configuration The right side displays information about set parameters with adjustment options Next we are going to explain all the menu options in chronologic order. 5
READINGS MENU This menu includes information about current controller work and shows water parameters in the pool. Figure 1 1. This section displays current parameters like ph, Chlorine, Redox, Temperature and flow status. When the minimal or maximal level is exceeded the field lights up in red. 2. Squares indicating dosing of ph and Chlorine - gray color no dosing - green color dosing active When squares 2 are green counters displaying time in seconds are showing. 3. Counter indicating when the measurements are taken used to calculate the dosing times. In default it s set to 100 seconds (1:40) after that time the controller checks the chemical parameters of the water, analyze them and sets the duration of dosing of the chemical components. The counting process runs in cycles if: a. Filtration pump is running b. There are no alarms active c. The dosing delay time is not programmed d. ph and Chlorine dosing set to automatic 4. Pump working status indication, possible working modes (manual, automatic) a. Green color indicates that pump is working b. Grey color, the pump is off Detailed description of turning on and switching the pump can be found in MAIN PUMP MENU 5. These buttons allow switching between automatic and manual ph dosing mode green color indicates chosen mode. 6. These buttons allow switching between automatic and manual Chlorine dosing mode green color indicates chosen mode. 6
Changing the dosing mode to manual (pressing the Manual button) for both ph and Chlorine causes two additional buttons to show up on screen which can be seen on Figure2 as 5a and 6a allowing manual dosing to be turn on. 7. Expansion tank level. 8. Current time. Figure 2 7

INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR PCS PH/OXYGEN/TEMP CONTROLLER When servicing PCS ph-oxygen controller the full PCS ph Redox-Cl instruction manual should be used. The differences are explained below. On the main screen Readings the OXYGEN field ( field 2. ) based on calculations shows the daily dose in mg per Day, considering the number of days chosen for weekly dosage. Shown above is the active oxygen dosage configuration screen, each field is described below: 31
Step 1: 1. enter the pool capacity In m enter the weekly dosage In ml/ 1m 3. e.g.: according to instructions placed on Bayrosoft containers the weekly dosage should be 0,5L to 10m 3 of water field B is filled by default according to Bayrosoft instruction. In case of using deferent manufacturer product the field Has to be modified accordingly. 3. shows efficiency the dosing pumps originally installed In PCS ph-tlen controller. In case when different pumps are used the settings should be changed accordingly. 4. after All above Fields are complete Press the calculate button, the chemical agent dosage will be calculated In minutes per week. Pressing the calculate button does not confirm configuration changes, it is only the first step needed to calculate the active oxygen dosage. Step 2: 5. used for choosing days of the week when the dosing takes place. By pressing the days buttons we can mark or unmark each day. Buttons that are greyed out- inactive (see picture above Thursday, Saturday, Sunday) indicate days when the main filtration pump is switched off. Please read the filtration pump configuration In attached instruction. Inactive buttons eliminatee the possibility of setting the dosing on day when the filtration pump is switched off. After choosing the dosing days the weekly dosage is divided between the chosen days in equal measures. e.g.: pool capacity 20m 3 weekly dosage 50ml/m 3 calculated dosage 20 x 50ml = 1000ml = 1 liter per week When we choose 3 days for dosing, then each day the device will dose 333ml When we choose 4 days for dosing, then each day the controller will dose 250ml. 6. the OK. button confirms All changes entered on the oxygen panel. After pressing the OK. button the controller will calculate the daily dosage, then show the main controller page ( Readings ) and update the daily dose. Controller will also calculate the period of time the dosing pumps have to work to administer given dose to the pool. 32
INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR PCS PH/REDOX/TEMP CONTROLLER When servicing PCS ph/redox/temp controller the full PCS ph Redox-Cl instruction manual should be used. The differences are explained below. On the main screen Readings there is a REDOX button which activates chlorine dosing to the pool, there is no free chlorine reading. REDOX MENU Allows to type in the REDOX set point, maximal and minimal value when the alarm is going to start, it also allows to calibrate the REDOX probe. ( see page 14.) 33
