Operators can control any remote equipments, heater, lights, machines, or power sockets through WiFi network. QK-W011 support three relay outs and 433MHz RF transmitter. RF power sockets within 25 meters of QK- W011 can be controlled by mobile operators. 3 of

4 Figure 1 System diagram 2 SETUP 2.1 Power up QK-G021/022 module can be powered by 12VDC. Connect a 12 volt DC power supply to the power socket, switch on the power supply. The indicator LED will turn on once system finish initialization. This LED indicator flashes quickly if any wireless data transmit. 2.2 Access QK-W011 After 30 seconds of powering on, customer should be able to search an AP called WiFi168. Access WLAN of your phone and connect with the WiFi168. The default password is Figure 2 Search AP 4 of

5 Figure 3 Search AP 2.3 Reset QK-W011 can be reset to factory setting by the following process: 1, Power off QK-W011. 2, Press and hold the RESET button, and then power up QK-W011. 3, Wait 5 seconds, and the release RESET button. Wait another 5 seconds, the indicator LED should turns on. 4, During the LED on state, power off QK-W011 again the system should reset to the factory setting. 3 APP(ANDROID VERSION) The latest version of Android APP can be downloading with the following link: Connect With Mobile phones Once open the APP, enter in the IP bar and 5000 in the port bar (for some old QK-W011, this should be 1 ). Then click Connect, then WiFi icon should change to blue, this indicated the connection has been successful setup. 5 of

6 This icon changes from gray to blue once the WiFi connection setup. Figure 4 Control Panel on App Once the mobile phone has connected with QK-W011, the operator can control these electronics devices which connected on relays and RF main sockets. The indicator icons (the light bulb next to Off button) can demonstrator each relays/main socket settings. These icons indicate the status of the relays/switches. 7 3.2 Reset password Operators can change the WiFi password once connected with QK-W011 module. The password should be 7 to 17 characters long. New password will not be active until re-power QK-W011(Unplug the power header and connect again). Figure 6 Change password 7 of

9 4 PARING WITH RF POWER SOCKETS QK-W011 has a build-in 433Mhz RF transmitter module. It can pair with up to four RF power sockets. So the operators are able to turn ON/OFF the electrical devices by switching the power sockets. The power sockets have been paired and ready to use if they come with QK-W011. However the operator can always pair or release the pairing by following steps: Insert the RF power socket into a powered mains wall socket. The LED light on the socket should flash at 1 second intervals indicating it s ready to pair with the QK-W011. If the lights doesn t flash, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to clear the memory indicated by the quickly flashing LED. Open WiFi Remote control panel in App, press the corresponding RF switch ON button. The paring command will be sending out through RF signals. Figure 8 RF Switch ON buttons Once the power socket received the paring command, The LED light on the socket will flash briefly more quickly and then flash at 1 second intervals. This RF main socket should have been successfully paired now. Repeat above process for each different RF main sockets. Simply plug-in the appliance which you want to operate remotely into the socket, press the corresponding ON button on App that is paired to the socket. The appliance will turn on. 9 of

QK-W011 use 12VDC 1.0Amp power. The outside and inner diameter of the plug is 5.5mm and 2.1mm. Like most of the similar RF main sockets in the market, customer should keep at least 0.2 meter distance between one RF main socket and the other. This is due to EMC interference between these RF main sockets of

11 Although QK-W011 have running specific algorithm to increase the RF transmission reliability, Quark-elec cannot guarantee 100% of proper action rate of RF main sockets. QK-W011 RF signal could be affect by other nearby RF devices such as bell ring, car key, cordless phone, mobile phone, RF alarm system. The following is a real test result taken in a house environment in the UK.
