All video sources, controllers and AV switching equipment is located in an office rack for easy access. Control is achieved using a Control4 at the main bar. A Control4 ipod dock is also located at the bar, providing a convenient, accessible audio source for restaurant/bar staff. This system can be scaled to a larger capacity by adding audio/video switchers with more inputs/outputs, as well as additional amplification, sources and control equipment. See System Tiers for suggestions on larger systems. This application can be enhanced with additional Control4 user interfaces, lighting and climate control for a comprehensive control system. 4 RESTAURANT/BAR SYSTEM TIER 1 Controllers and interfaces About this system: With the HC-800 and as a foundation for control, this system provides eight discrete video display locations, each with access to eight video sources such as satellite receivers or media players. For the perfect ambience while dining and high-impact audio during ballgames, the Control4 eight-zone amplifier routes eight audio sources to eight stereo audio zones. Audio sources such as the Grace Digital Internet radio player and the Control4 ipod dock provide convenient, easy access to streaming audio content and itunes media and playlists. All audio is routed to high-performance 6.5 in-ceiling commercial grade speakers, housed in a painted steel back-can. This system is ideal for small to mid-sized restaurants and bars. A is added for convenient walk-around control of all AV locations in the facility. This system is ideal for mid sized restaurants, bars and nightclubs. A portable 7 touchscreen is added for convenient walk-around control of all AV locations in the facility. This system is recommended for large sized restaurants, bars, nightclubs and casinos.
