Digital means high image quality, images that won t degrade through reproduction or re-recording, and faster image retrieval. The Panasonic /WJ-HD00 Digital Disk Recorders make full use of these digital-difference benefits. Their extraordinary performance raises reliability to new levels, making them perfect for diverse and demanding surveillance applications. High-Quality Images Trouble-Free Media Management Quick Search and Retrieval Flexible Upgrades These digital disk recorders use the industry-standard JPEG Recording format. This Digital recording technology ensures high image quality with no degradation from re-recording or reproduction. Images are clearer and more detailed than ever. Conventional surveillance recording has been on tape. Tapes have to be changed and filed. Tape heads and other consumables have to be replaced. Digital disk recorders substantially reduce management time and operating expense by eliminating these efforts. These digital disk recorders are a leap ahead of previous recorders in image speed search and retrieval. With full random access, you do not have to rewind or fast forward images to view scenes. Mirroring Prevents Data Loss You may add optional hard disks (40GB to,040gb- in 40GB increments) for back-up that allows for the use of mirroring to ensure data integrity.
