1 Air circuit breakers Special versions Series MEGT07 0V/500V/DC 50 up to 5000 A The air circuit breakers MEGT07 are suitable for use as disconnecting switch in DC distributions up to a rated voltage of DC 0V (single pole breaking) and DC 500V (two pole breaking in series). For these applications the standard 3pole types MET07H are provided with modified heightened arc chutes to cover the requirements. For accessories e.g. motordrives, auxiliary trips please refer to pages.57. Series MEGT07 Conformity The disconnecting switch MEGT07 comply with the standard Lowvoltage switchgear and control gear VDE 0660 Part 07, respectively IEC 93. Installation Terminations are rear side suitable only for horizontal plane. The circuit breaker can be mounted on the base without additional parts. A withdrawable version is not available. Power supply 0V: upper terminals / 500V: either on upper or lower terminals.
