It reduces the installation effort to connect the power supply, the Ethernet LAN wiring, the BMCS bus cables and the potential-free contacts to external alarming or monitoring systems.

1 Version: BMCS CCX Cabinet Description & Function: The BMCS_CCX Cabinet is a ready to install wall housing for one or more BMCS systems (see figures 1 to 3). The BMCS_CCX Cabinet is designed as ready-to-use system, connecting directly to the wiring (Network, Power) of the BMCS customer. It reduces the installation effort to connect the power supply, the Ethernet LAN wiring, the BMCS bus cables and the potential-free contacts to external alarming or monitoring systems. The BMCS CCx Cabinet protects the BMCS_WEBMANAGER of misuse, environmental influences and is accessible with a cabinet key only (see figure 8-3). The respective operating states of the BMCS system will be optical displayed at the front door through LEDs. In addition the alarms of the BMCS system will be signalized audible via the buzzer and the potential-free contacts (1x NC and 1x NO contact). Fig.1 Fig.2 Fig.3 Assembling: The BMCS_CCx Cabinets are designated for assembly sites like walls, profiles, racks and will be mounted via the 4 drill-holes, which are located in the 4 corners of the rear wall, at the destined site of installation with screws (see figure 4). Mind that the payload (see table Technical Data ) of the screws is strong enough to carry the weight of the cabinets. All components of the BMCS_CCx Cabinets are mounted on DIN rails (35mm top-hat rail) for easy access and replacement. Power supply: The BMCS_CCX Cabinet comes with a wide range power supply from 100V/60Hz to 240V/50Hz. The wiring will be inserted from below into the BMCS_CCX Cabinet, strain-relieved via binders at the Chat-rail, located short over the insertion and disposed at the terminals L1/N/PE (see figure 4 to 6). The BMCS_CCX Cabinet is secured via a switchable 6A circuit breaker. Note the right selectivity ratio of your feeding. BMCS Bus connection: The connection of the BMCS C-Modules or the BMCS_SPLITTING BOX will be realized from the battery bus sockets of the BMCS WEBMANAGER via the cable channel to the below insertion of the BMCS_CCX Cabinets. Use binders for the strain relief on the C-hat-rail. Network connection: The Ethernet network connection of the BMCS_CCX Cabinet has to be made by a Twisted-Pair cable. Every BMCS WEBMANAGER provides a network socket inside the BMCS_CCX Cabinet, where the Twisted-Pair cable will be disposed via insulation displacement termination contacts (see supplement instruction for installation E-DAT module REG8(8)IP20). The Twisted-Pair cable will be inserted from below into the BMCS_CCX Cabinet, strain-relieved via binders at the C-hat-rail, located short over the insertion and disposed at the RJ45 sockets (see figures 4 to 10). For connecting the BMCS WEBMANAGER a short network cable is included. Alternatively you can insert a network cable into the BMCS_CCX Cabinet and connected it to the BMCS WEBMANAGER directly.

2 Alarm contacts: The connection of the potential-free alarm contacts is made through a 2-wired cable. Every BMCS WEBMANAGER allocates a NC (normally closed contact) and NO (normally open contact) via terminals (see figures 4 to 7). The 2-wired cable will be connected from below into the BMCS_CCX Cabinet, strain-relieved via binders at the C-hat-rail, located short over the insertion and disposed at the terminals X3. The current capacity is depending on the number of the BMCS modules supplied by this system. Every connected BMCS_CXX-Module reduces the capacity of the available 1650mA power supply about approx. 5mA, that means at 100 pieces of BMCS CXX-Modules, you can use at most approx. 1000mA through the auxiliary voltage terminal. Without the auxiliary voltage, the power supply is able to supply up to 290 BMCS C modules.

Disassembling of the BMCS WEBMANAGER: For the connection of optional extensions (e. g. SM_T_COM temperature sensor, SM_T_H_COM temperature and humidity sensor, SENSORMANAGER, GSM modem etc.

3 Disassembling of the BMCS WEBMANAGER: For the connection of optional extensions (e. g. SM_T_COM temperature sensor, SM_T_H_COM temperature and humidity sensor, SENSORMANAGER, GSM modem etc., see extensions list for the BMCS WEBMANAGER), it is required to disconnect the BMCS WEBMANAGER from the DIN rail to get access to the COM 2. Also its required to disconnect the BMCS WEBMANAGER to have access to the DIP Switches for configuration mode (Default IP address or DHCP). Do the disconnect the BMCS WEBMANAGER from the DIN Rail please follow the instructions here: Pull the lower part of the BMCS WEBMANAGER forwards (see figure 5), a bit of pressure might be required, so that the lower ratchets will be released from the DIN rail. Fig.5 If the lower part of the BMCS WEBMANAGER housing is released (see figure 6), you can disengage the entire device upwards. Fig.6 For reconnecting the BMCS WEBMANAGER please act in contrary order. First hitch the upper hooks on the upper side of the DIN Rail (see figure 7-1) and then engage the lower part into the ratchets (see figure 7-2) of the upper side of the DIN Rail. Fig.7

Alarms are configurable through the BMCS WEBMANAGER Web interface and the alarm levels should be set according to the measuring results of the BMCS C modules.

4 Status LED s: External: The BMCS_CCX Cabinet provides an optical display of the operating states at front door. The green LED (see figure 8-1) signalizes the supply of the BMCS_CCX Cabinets with operating voltage. The red LED signalizes the if there are any alarms of the BMCS WEBMANAGER. Alarms are configurable through the BMCS WEBMANAGER Web interface and the alarm levels should be set according to the measuring results of the BMCS C modules. See the BMCS user manual for correct setup of alarm thresholds. Fig.8 Internal: The power supply of the electrical components provides a check LED (see figure 9-1) of the 12V output voltage. The auxiliary relay, which provides the supply for the potential-free contacts, provides a green state LED (see figure 9-2), which will be active is the the relay is activated (normal operation=on, alarm=off).
