1 3SE2 / SE3 Molded plastic /metal enclosure with separate actuator Application Safety interlock switches with separate actuator are used where the position of doors, covers or safety screens must be monitored for safety reasons. For example, they can be used together with 3TK28 safety relays up to safety category 4. Construction Interlock switches with separate actuator are available in three versions. Molded plastic enclosure with mounting dimensions according to EN Metal enclosure with mounting dimensions according to EN Molded plastic enclosure outside of the standards that have arisen in this form in accordance with general market requirements. When used as a safety switch mounting at a spacing of 20 mm (molded plastic housings) or 30 mm (metal housing) is necessary. Or, the interlock switch must be fitted with a pin or stop. Operation Interlock switches with separate actuator can only be operated with a matching triple-coded actuator. Actuation by hand or with auxiliary devices is virtually impossible. The actuators are not included with the interlock switch and must be ordered separately. Side operating heads can be rotated in 90 increments and cannot be replaced with actuators of the standard type. Operating heads for the 3SE2 243 and 3SE2 257 types cannot be changed. Radius actuator Interlock switches with radius actuators are particularly suitable for rotatable protection devices. The movable actuation key allows even small radii to be approached. Damage to the switch and the actuator due to inaccurate approach is prevented. Contact reliability The movable contacts of the 3SE2 120, 3SE3 170 and 3SE2 200 switches are designed as double-break contacts. This ensures extremely high contact stability, even when the devices are switching low voltages and currents, e.g. DC 5V / 1 ma. 13/40
