1 Thermal OEM Laser Heads OEM laser sensor Disks and laser heads manufactured by LaserPoint are based on high sensitivity thermopiles. They are made with resistant materials and coatings that extend their applicability from UV to Far Infrared and to concentrated beams, without damaging even at extreme power densities. LaserPoint thermopiles also exhibit a high degree of linearity over their entire working range and have large areas to sample the whole laser beam. 5 Connectivity Options Output connector options include Laser Point s IIS (Intelligent Identification System) on DB15 connector, BNC, Molex and 2 or 4 wire pigtail. -The DB-15 houses an EEPROM which stores calibration corrections and other head relevant data. We provide for use with LaserPoint s LPM-OEM, LPM-CE and PLUS power and energy readouts. - BNC connectors give, total plug/un-plug ease and high EMI noise shielding. -Molex connectors make easier the removal of detectors for service or for their use at other locations - Pigtail : 2 or 4 wires, depending on models, deliver the natural signal of sensor discs or heads to a control unit or host system. 6 Control Electronics and Software LaserPoint has developed various electronic solutions and SW tools for conditioning the signals of laser sensors or for analyzing and transferring information to the control units of lasers or laser systems. These electronic products can be small electronics meters, enclosed modules, or complex boar ds with data acquisitions SW. For an exhaustive and complete description please refer to Displays and Control Section within this catalogue or visit the website This ultra-compact product fulfils diverse OEM requirements being a circuit board, internal to the AH series heads, which amplifies and speeds up response times of sensors discs. A main feature is the possibility to vary sensors sensitivities, via a variable resistor, to make all detectors equally performing. The board can work with additional custom electronics or read with a display The it also offers fast response times, high sensitivity, accuracy and linearity. Output connectivity options for the amplified heads include Molex or a simple 4 wires pigtail.
